I think Monty had another heart attack and is now in a coma. Rebecca and Tommy will make a truce for the good of M-Tex and Cooper will continue to secure leases. With the military conducting exercises the cartel will find other safer ground - they ain't gonna poke the US Gov't. Ainsley will be abducted by the cartel as a bargaining chip and Angela will be injured in the kidnapping of her daughter. Can't wait to see how wrong my predictions turn out to be! Lol. Love this show!
I was on the same page on his deals being successful eventually, but where I differ is that I think she will try to derail his deal or his last phase of packaging the less productive wells into something worth buying. I think em tex would be a potential buyer and as vp or whatever it would be her role to get them and I predict she will not want to deal with him. Worst case scenario she could even attempt to blackball him I. The industry. Depending on how wounded her ego truly was and if she can get past it.
What cooler is trying to do would be literally impossible without at least 50 million dollars, not even mentioning the 250K it would cost to service each well and revive it.
I don’t think Monty is dead. It’s John Hamm man. I can’t see Taylor Sheridan killing him off so soon already and if Monty dies Tommy is fucked. It’s Monty who has all the connections with the governor and senators and so on to help protect the crew from the cartel
Monty dies, a metaphor for the death of Big Oil, and the death of its lies. Look to renewables replacing oil in Season Two, the wells shut down and capped, and Texas starting to heal from the mistakes of old men.
My theories....Cooper transitions, Tommy runs off with Rebecca, Cooper's girlfriend runs off with Nate, Jerry Jones and Tommy's ex become an item, and Tommy's daughter and her meathead boyfriend become astronauts. End of series. Oh yeah, Monty recovers and buys the New England Patriots.
I love Cooper and Ariana story-I hope it ends with lots of success for them! Ditch the old folks stuff-too distracting. Rebecca seems ‘out of character somehow’?
Ainsley get kidnapped and her boyfriend killed. Cooper gets into a struggle with Rebecca over land rights, since she's over exploration and he hits gold where they used to drill. Rebecca hires the cartel to kill Cooper and his girlfriend. Tommy finds out and she either gets arrested or killed. Tommy cooperates with the cartel to save his daughter and starts running drugs and makes a fortune, and he keeps it quiet to please Angela. The DEA gets involved and Tommy has troubles with the FEDs in season 2.
Jerry Jones blew my mind with that acting tbh
I think he was telling a relatively true-ish story and was not acting at all

I would like Cami to step in. Resolves some leadership issues and she can deal CEO issues while Tommy does the day to day.
Andy Garcia is still to be written in. There's definitely a S2.
Season 1 was so bad ,what could they do for a season 2
@@Fendogs. how?!?!!?!?!?!
I think Cooper oil will be a hit. Rebecca will take notice and hire Cooper as assistant. Monty did say the company was more than a billion.

they killed Micheal Pena off in the first episode my guy..... wtf are u talking about? haha
@ Michael Pena wasn’t a main character my guy
@@philliesfan3414 neither is the "Tommy" character.... hes a supporting character... so your second point is just as shit as your first.....
@ lol the show was designed around the Tommy character. Taylor Sheridan literally created Landman for Billy Bob Thornton
@@jackson_craft_gamingscates9324bro chill. Have an open mind he may be right dont blast bro cause you disagree you sound like a left wing democrats
I need more episodes
It wasn't a stroke- It was a heart attack and now he is set up for or has had his 3rd bypass surgery

I could not believe they knocked off Monty come on he was a shrewd sob
Love this show ❤
that was a coyote, not a "gray wolf" hahaha
Why doesn’t Cooper work as a petroleum engineer.
Probably get a quarter million dollars a year to start
Can't get into the cooper situation. The actor is blah. And the old folks home is good levity but shouldn't occupy too much time.
his mom will get the old folks to invest in his company and everyone is happy. tommy and his crew all working together.
Yeah!! Something about Cooper's character doesn't seem quite right.
Unbelievably Lucky.
I don’t like the romance between them, he deserved that beating and evio hasn’t been gone a month and she just moved on like he wasn’t nothing.
Eight million dollars minimum to set up and run an oil lease
@@vivajhl give the character a chance. he makes things happen possibly a positive force. he is loved.
Maybe they are in negotiations for next season 😮
10/1 will open with Monty's funeral. The wolf getting killed signified the end of the predatory style of the oil business.
No, he had surgery.
Question ~ Did Monty Die in the last episode?
Nope. He's in surgery.
Jimenez is pronounced " Hemenez"
Put Demi Moore in charge and lose half your audience.
Tommy’s daughter will get kidnapped by the cartel

Lol no
This what happens in season 2. Inside sources. I said this before 10 and it sets up perfectly.
It was a coyote.
Coyote not a grey wolf. more likely a coydog
Now I think he’s a live but he had another heart attack dying would be to obvious
Love old folks story line sad Monty is off he was a good character.
