hmmm I see this one a little differently (full disclosure i don't follow Goldie or know what her beliefs are ) however...I do believe that if we sometimes have negative thoughts in our minds...it may be for a reason..it may be a "gut check" so to speak. I feel that at times those negative thoughts can help us to rethink things ? perhaps those thoughts are telling us that theres no right or wrong answer but perhaps something in between ? a balance ? Negative thoughts come from somewhere...I like to think them through to try to uncover where they come from? Sometimes theyre a trigger from the past and finding out or exploring why certain things are triggering can be great because once you discover why certain things are a trigger you can actually come to terms with it and understand why you feel certain ways at certain times? Ha ....it's a fascinating thing ..our minds and what we take from every experience. lol All we can do, I suppose, is the best that we can with what we have to work with. Sorry for the too long response 🤣Hanging out with my horses always helps me to figure things out ...one way or another 💌 very thought provoking post...Always a good thing!
Just want to add that being kind to our mind surely also means listening to it? Just in case it's telling us something we really need to consider while we try to navigate through our daily lives ?
Yes, I completely agree with you as well. I come from a long line of negative thinkers in my family. My dad was always negative to the most were we call our negative time our “Dads gene” because of the way it was growing up. So learning ways to listen to my mind without getting sucked in too deeply helps me so much. And I don’t know where I would be without my horses, seriously, they help me in so many ways. One, they have to be cared for so they force me to get up and go outside, and there is no such thing as a quick trip to the barn 😂. And just being with them is mood boasting. No worries on the long response, I loved reading it. Thank you ☺️
