- This is a documentary my friend made when he was in college in the mid 90's. It's about a house in Wheeling, WV that's decorated all year round with tons of christmas decorations.
This film made me so happy but yet at the same time so sad... this really is history; history that I thought was gone forever but this is absolutely amazing and so well done at that.... Throughout the film I was awestruck at how professional each scene was composed and edited and how really well the music fit the plot and by the second minute I wondered where they found such perfect music and then to see the final scene that cut to the live band.. bravo... that's all I can say....... A+++

Right! I've tried to tell people from out of town about the Christmas House but words cannot do it justice. It really was a staple of the valley...everyone knew about it.
Thank you to everyone who put this together and uploaded. It warmed my heart with great memories of the valley and the people. The Christmas House was such a unique entity that just drew you in. Everyone knew of it and talked about it. Rumors as to why...
I never did meet or see Mr Morris but many a time did we find ourselves driving past in total amazement of "everything"- there was so much and to finally "see" who really lived there and what he was all about was great. Back in high school there were wild rumors about his reasonings for it but watching this quashed them..
Few people are aware of the fact that he also placed several wreaths on various utility poles in that general vicinity; of them one or two miraculously still remain.
What a great part of the Valley history. If you lived there during a certain era...you KNEW of the Christmas House! It was always so intriguing as to what was going on there and why...it was always so interesting to look at!!
