True story, I called out as a little kid during the show warning "Felix" about the approaching heckler behind him on the roof. Performer was kind enough to play along and tip his hat in thanks before proceeding with the rest of the performance. Favorite memory of that particular vacation.
I actually can't believe I made it into the video...LOL...Thank you for this. It always brings back incredible memories. I'm the actor playing Clod at 3:33-36 in the video. While my real name is James, I was using Jeb Webster as a stage name at that particular time.
Ahh i miss this show! Huge part of my childhood. Also the Beetlejuice rocking graveyard review, back to the future, ET, Backdraft and of course the old school tram. Those were the days!
I always appreciate how you mention Universal's refusal to reveal price tags. It's a recurring detail that makes me smile.
My favorite part was after “Ma” falls into the well, one of the characters casually remarks “Oh well” then repeats the line until the audience groans or laughs.
Being a Florida kid & being able to go to Universal Studios with my family back in '98, I fondly remember the Wild Wild Wild West Show since it was next to the E.T. ride I really liked. It actually impressed me back in the day when my Mom wanted to see the show with my Dad & little brother.
Awesome video! Brings back fond memories🥰
Knott's Berry Farm has always had a great western show too
I miss this show so much. It was great!
This was a good stunt show. I kinda wish I got to see it in person
Such a classic USH show. I saw so it many times while I was there over the years and was so sad I never got to do the show. It was my so in my wheelhouse.
Pulling out all the bangers for the soundtrack to this one! Woody’s roundup…the house building song from RDR2. Gotta love it!!!
Yess new video! Always a great day when you upload!
Yay
"oh well" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 my earliest pun experience was from this show lol
Would like to see a Batman Stunt show video from Magic Mountain that was replaced by the DC Dark Ride.
Heck yea man!
I miss this show so much. Me my dad would alway go to see it when going to universal
Seems like a total classic, wish I had seen it
they should bring this show back
It looks badass
When a TPH upload appears, it’s equivalent to the glass shattering. You’ve got no clue when it happens. But when it does, you’re eyes pop and you’re jumping out of your chair.
(Did I post this comment mere minutes following the Kevin Owens spot on raw? Yes, yes I did.)
Thank you for making that video. I was really happy to get to revisit this epic stunt show. It's arguably my favorite show I've ever seen at a theme park. I know all good things must come to an end eventually, but to think that this got replaced by Fear Factor Live, of all things...
Had no clue about this....thank you for keeping this fantastic history alive
i really miss the show. thank you for doing a video on it!!!
Love the Red Dead 2 music🔥
Pointers for that
YESSIR
The classic USF and USJ show is a laugh-filled riot of physical slapstick comedy and death-defying stunts!
Finally, another video! Do the history of Animal Actors on Location! (and all the other ones, Animal Actors Stage and Animal Planet Live!).
Speaking of the old stunt shows, how about a look at Marvel Super Hero Stunt Show at Universal Studios?
Man, I loved this show as a kid. I totally forgot about it
The Wild, Wild, Wild, West Stunt Show was opened in 1991. Aaron Burr was elected to the senate in 1791. Important things always seem to happen in years with the number 91 in their name.
Yeah, always. Like the end of WW2 or landing on the Moon. Oh, wait....
Classic I remember my dad taking me to this in the 90s when I was like 7 ☯️👏👏
I loved this experience! I was so sad to see it gone!
I’ve Sooo missed this show, even though it’s been gone almost as long as Country Bear Vacation Hoedown has been (at least for us SoCal theme park nuts!)…I probably saw this show twenty plus times between ‘86 and 2002 and could probably recite the regular script to you word for word (as I can also do with Country Bear!) even these two decades later-“ I can’t believe you BlewUp that Lady!”..”THAT was No Lady! THAT WAS MY MAW!!”
The history of Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride would be great!
1:32 this channel has good taste in music
I never knew Ma was so good at no scoping buckets
Please do Maelstrom at Disney Epcot, Fear Factor Live, Bill and Ted at universal, and Super star Limo
Love your videos man, do you think there is any chance you could do a video on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney?
I used to love this show so much!! I was super stoked when I got to work Grinchmas 2009 as a show usher, we used the old stunt show set as storage/home base. I have pictures of the inside somewhere… but I was the only person geeking out about the venues history
I am barely old enough to remember directly, but it is impossible for anyone enjoying TV after 1980 to realize what TV was in 60s when they created this show. Westerns were on every night, and Gunsmoke was #1 for years - with 40% of all audiences. When audiences went to this show, and Tram tour, it was only way to really see behind the scenes -- no videocassette or DVD or Internet. It might be like me as a kid in 1960s imaging life without electricity or telephone. I am not being an old guy, its the "circle of nostalgia"
I love the cyberdyne system background music at the start!
This is amazing! I randomly stumbled on your channel and saw this video. I started working at universal Hollywood in Dec 2002. Our staff break room was in the wild Wild West stunt show, which was closed down at that point. I had never seen the show, or even knew what it was about (I assumed it was from that terrible will smith movie)… till I saw this video, 20 years later. It’s crazy to see, cause I have great memories hanging out with my buddy, Sid (he played deacon at waterworld), and playing around on that set.
I was in film school on the backlot at the time, and Sid was in one of my student films “the meter fairy” (big tuff guy gets annoyed with weirdo dressed as a fairy and knocks him over. Later the fairy sees he’s about to get a parking ticket and puts change in his meter). Sid was a professional actor, but still spent 3 days filming a student production for free, just cause he’s awesome)
0:27: It's the Woody's Roundup theme from Toy Story 2!
You know, that’s kinda ironic that he’s using a Disney song in a video about a Universal attraction.
Shoutout for using rdr2 music
I loved that stunt show!! It was so funny and great!!
Love to see my other favorite next time! Sinbads ride at Islands of adventure !
Thanks for the great videos
I still can't believe this show got taken away replaced by plaza instead of another show such a disappointment by universal
Well we worked so hard to build a little house together!
This show was Amazing!!
I really enjoy watching your videos! They are very well done & clean quality, you should do some theme park history on six flags the rides are pretty cool, & maybe you can do some commentary on six flags fright fest or any other events or rides based off six flags? That’ll be swell! Keep up your content man it’s enjoyable!
