Brilliant curtis. I'm really a boring hayter man.i know there are issues. But I have never found a better finish. Bought a new 48 pro last year.all good so far.your new mower looks amazing pal.
Cor...surprised you didn't wait for a Honda 537HY. The mulching system is still the best and the drive too...in my humble opinion. Hope the Toro does you proud though and goodluck in your endeavours this year.
I bought one last year & find mine fabulous at mulching but terrible at collection" So now its the spare for mulching days. Reverted to buying a HRX. Hope you have a better outcome than Me
Somehow I thought it was going to be a Toro! I had a look at a couple earlier in the year. Will see how you get on with it as I'm not due to treat myself this year as have done over the past three years.
Quite sure you made the right decision, Honda mowers, just not the same quality as they were 10 years ago. Also I have an issue with a rattle on the new Gcv engine. Honda not really bothered about it, hence I bought a Stihl mower which is a pleasure to use. Good luck with the Toro.
There is a delivery issue with Honda, most of uk stock is stuck on ships in a different country 🙈 I luckily got a Honda HRD 536 21” as my supplier had one, same as I couldn’t wait. Surely that lawn deserves a rear roller mower 😊 I’ve heard a lot of good things about Toro mowers, hope it works out for you 👍
always nice using a new mower, whats the pace like? the honda is quite a fast paced mower, the drive has gone on my honda, I use it now just as a chipper and mulch waste for composting.
You won’t regret buying the HD2 BBC was on market this year for Honda Dealer had talked me into toro for easy parts accessibility got one my self this year other thing I found was weight too compairing to Honda also I like the gallon fuel tank❤️
I think they are the best Toro for your needs, but I’m Honda through and though so I always stick to them. But if I was to go another mower the one you have there would be a contender, others would be Etesia. Tbh I don’t think there’s that many good mowers out there I wouldn’t own a Hayter or Weibang , but Toro were always a decent make. Good luck with it🙂👍
At the moment we’re running some John Deere comercial walk behinds I think ones the R54RKB and they’re so so heavy for £1600 i think I’m going to go with those new stihl comercial ones to anyone seeing this and wanting a John Deere walk behind I promise you they’re heavy even with the alu deck they’re incredibly heavy 2 people struggle to lift it into the van we have the one with the Kawasaki engine on and it’s a powerful machine but damm it’s heavy
Your John Deere got More speeds than Single speed Stihl also cuts Higher as used to have one before in 2017 it got stolen all Commercial mowers Heavy that why single crew people have Folding Ramps so make lot easier load them my Mower 19” & 10kg more than R54rkb under 50kg it Domestic Mower
@@paulhusky580bts very true we’re keeping the John Deere but the stihl will come in useful for the finer lawns that we take care of and then probably a hayter 41 pro for tiny lawns will be our next option
That lawn is crying out for a roller. i just bought a hrx 537, but wouldnt use it on that lawn, My 56 would look amazing striped the other way to the way you mowed. Great vid thou
No reason I can think why your local could not get you the honda i brought the honda on monday arrived tuesday really impressed toros are good though have a super recycler plus the time master great machines except there personal pace system which is useless
Glad you didn't buy another Hayter. mines just over a year old and the gearbox is knackered! never again!! Hayter still can't get anywhere near the old Hayter 48 pro. models of 2003..absolute joke!
@@JohnUk65 actually a lot of Toro stuff is made by Hayter, who designed those toros is another thing, haven't been many reports of gearboxes failing on the new pros. the odd one here and there. so maybe unlucky?
Congrads on the new toy....always fun playing with new things.
Yard turned out really nice.
Stay safe and God Bless from Texas/
this Mower is actually still really amazing

🎉 Congratulations on your new mower. 👍
Happy new mower day. They do look like a well built piece of kit. Good dealer relationships are key to a good business you’re right. Buy local.
Shocker!! Hope it serves you well, would be interested in a review at the end of the season.

It looks a solid mower, the black Kawasaki engine and red deck looks good 👍
Good choice pal

I've owned that model. Solid machine. It will last you for many years. Congrats!
A bit of a surprise, but you picked the best Toro model I think. Hope it serves you well ! 👍
Will be interesting to hear your opinion on the mower as the season progresses 👍
Nice one mate I’m in need of a new mower and strimmer but money is tight at the minute

they make a Toro Roller kit for this mover if your clients are keen on stripes...or you can just make one for it...pretty easy

I thought it was going to be a Cobra. Has a nice Kawasaki engine on the Toro.
Great engine on them but no contest to the honda but well use mate

Big fuel tank and aluminum deck will serve you well and less investment in having several spare blades.

Hey mate, commenting from Australia here. Why not use a ride of for a job that big? It'd pay for itself in no time!
you won't run out of fuel doing your large lawn with 3.8lt Tank with Kawasaki my 1.7lt tank Kawasaki engine runs 3hrs so that should do double that

Honda sacked off a quarter of their network over the winter, might be a reason?
