Thank you Va Moon. The weather here has been really bad. nothing but clouds and thunderstorms for weeks. I cant wait to get some really beautiful clear skies. Hope you have a really wonderful Sunday too my friend
It is a really great telescope camera. The weather here has been really bad so I am hoping to get some clear skies soon with good atmosphere conditions and get some better views with it
Jim you caught 2 moons. Look far left at the very edge and that's 2nd moon about 1/3 as bright. A little trick if you want to show Jupiter and the moons. Take a image with the exposure alphabet to display the moon's well and that once you have a good stack on Jupiter overlay that image of the moans with a mask cutting out Jupiter
Jim! We both caught the big guy on the same day (well, I did get Saturn also). I mentioned you in the video that I beat ya, but depending on what time you shot this maybe not (lol).
LOL I saw your video and you got some great views. The weather here is so bad that everytime I look at my 10 day forecast all I see is clouds and thunderstorms. I am going crazy for a view of Saturn lol
@@CarolinaSkyAstronomy Your forecast is the exact same as mine! I think we only had this small window to capture anything but gray for who knows how long. Take care, buddy, and stunning capture you got! :)
@@Jayling This weather is really killing me to a really slow painful death. You would think that these clouds would go away but they don't. It's like day after day after day after day of nothing but clouds
Hi,i have a telescope dobson skywatcher 150/1200, when i use this sv105 i see jupiter and saturn like fuzzy white balls, can you tell me why? it doesn't focus on them ... can you help me? Thanks

@@CarolinaSkyAstronomy you are welcome
Never realized how small the moon looks compared to Jupiter! 😮😮
That is one of Jupiter's moons... not "The Moon"

Hi sir
Awesome
Good work
Thank you
Your the first person I’ve seen beside myself who has fitted a telrad finder onto their 127 Mak
It works better than the little red dot finder

You need to put a barlow lens in the scope before the camera
thanks for the awesome video , what do you use to stack & take long exposures
I use AutoStakkert and RegiStax
Nice image but pretty much useless without the settings used. What exposure did you use etc?
what is your focal length telescope?
Can you use this cam on a dobsonian & what software would i need
Yes you can. You will need to download Sharpcap. Here is the link. www.sharpcap.co.uk/sharpcap-3-1-downloads
how i can zoom at this cam
What settings were you using in Sharpcap?
Can you use it with a android phone
