so for doing abroad job as ilot u need first experience of flying in ur country ?? am i right then how can we apply for aboroad job like from where we need to visit specific country
Hey, my brother after sometime wants to work for major usa airlines will it be possible for him to do the cpl course from india type rating from spain and then gain around 2500 hrs in india with domestic airline and later switch to american ones.. As they arent offering any sponsorship.
Sir i have a dbt. Do we need to do DGCA class 2 medicals for ground classes in india but flight training in abroad? Through tie up with a private aviation academy?
Can we get into british airlines such as british airways or easyjet if we do our cpl from here in india, and is it possible to convert our DGCA cpl to CAA cpl for a job in united kingdom???
Unfortunately, to get a pilot job in the UK you may need the right to work and live there. Meaning Citizenship or ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) which both require one to legally reside for 5 years or more. Rather interestingly I am a US citizen who also wants to work there as a pilot at some point but can't do so due to the the reasons mentioned above. You can still convert the license but just won't be able to get a job unfortunately.
So i have done cpl in india and i am going to do atpl in dubai, so my question is will i be then eligible for pilot in dubai after getting my citizenship of uae.
Hay buddy it was an amazing video and your way of presentation was marvellous. I got few questions, 1. What if I work for around 5 to 6 years in India and become captain and then I decide to switch to foreign country. What do you think about the challenges I had to go through? 2. Also I want to know more about the PR and which are the airlines & country who are little flexible giving jobs to Indian (international pilot) ?
Thanks Ritesh ! 1) In that case you will get many opportunities as you would be experienced. The Airlines will also take care of your conversion process. 2) Gulf is the most sort after for experienced indian pilots. Other countries the strict employment rules can be a challenge for visa related issues.
Yeah even i heard that answer from few, Okay so I'm a Cadet of Spicejet, and going through my ground classes for upcoming dgca exam. I got a long way to go. My flying will be done in usa and followed by conversion to Indian license. But you know what, I had this ambition to settle abroad and since I have many relatives living in usa- its my first priority. Even though I didn't heard any Indian pilot working in us airlines, im sure this path hardly anybody takes it due to the complications involved. Incase if you could gather more information regarding this issue, it would be really helpful to me or you can just connect me to someone who went through situations like mine.
@@ritesharohan4448 US airlines prefer citizens/PR & u usually don't get H1-B visa over a vocational course...so better do a parallel Bachelor degree(distance) while gaining 1500-3000hrs airline experience in India & then apply for US airlines...they would for sure consider u if there's a pilot shortage.
HI Taera. You definitely can. Not sure about the market Korea. You will have to do your research. The preferred countries for Indian students are America, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa and Australia

No. You need to train in the US and if you’re lucky you will get hired as a CFI by the flight school you trained at.
Sir i have a dbt. Do we need to do DGCA class 2 medicals for ground classes in india but flight training in abroad? Through tie up with a private aviation academy?
It's not compulsory. However it's always advisable to get your medicals done before starting your training.
As a Captain we can get into a foreign country then?
If we are given a chance to be an instructor there then can we get our job in abroad as then the working hours willl also increase?
It all depends Ananya, some schools will give you a part time job. Meaning to say not on work visa. Very related to the flight school

You can convert your license, however getting a job is unlikely for freshers. As they prefer hiring captains with experience.
