- I had to delete my intro music (Paradise, Coldplay) because of some copy right issues. The music starts from 2.28
0.00-2.26: Camp in Boston and host family
2.27-5.26: What I've experienced
5.27-9.55: Football :D
I had an awesome year in the states, and the time has gone by extremely fast! And I can't believe I'm going home in 2 weeks..
My football kicking went very good, and a professional kicking camp contacted me and wondered if I was interested to come to one of their camps (showcases) for College Football. I had a blast at the camp, and you can see how it went in the link bellow:

I would like to thank my amazing host family, for letting me stay at their house and become a part of their family. I can't thank you guys enough, and I love you so much!

Kid you lived an American Dream, I love it!,,,,not only did you have fun, you became the MAN...
Romelus69 kind of the american dream.... but not quite
It is a experience you will never ever forget...I am a single parent and have hosted 8 great young men...4 from Germany and 4 from Italy.....they are all in my Heart....it is a emotional day trying to say goodbye...
Wow! Talk about a dream story. I was excited for you at the end man.
sounds like you were a damn good kicker some non-Americans might not know the game but those are impressive numbers especially at High School level. probably could play at the college level here for sure
Thomas DeMay i don’t think so but ok
@@charlottep4530 He kicked a 46 yd field goal that was good from 56!!! Having only played one season, I think a school could do something with that. All of those kicks were nice. Nice arc and trajectory... What more could he do?
it really looks like you had a great experience! I spent last year in America too and I already miss it!
Greta fontainss where were you at?
(2 years later lmao)
WOW THIS COULD BE A MOVIE!!!! GREAT JOB OF GOING FOR IT!!
amazing! I was an exchange student in Indiana 6 years ago and was the best year of my life! :)
Alicia Cs Indiana hs basketball has to have been the highlight what school did you go to?
NIce video. Looks like you had a great year in the USA.
Given the way things were working out for you, you probably should have bought some lottery tickets.
Lol
lmfao
echt114 haha
I can tell you are a great young man. I don't even know you but I am proud of you. I am glad you had such a wonderful experience. 🏈🏈🏈
Inspirational !!! The American dream is a person from anywhere going for it.
Awesome man! Hope you liked Iowa. Some of the nicest people live there. I'm not far from Iowa, I'm in Nebraska. Hope you had fun!!
WOW What a great video thank you for sharing what a wonderful life you've living i 💕Love it god bless 👼🙏amen.
Stories like this make me happy, Glad you enjoyed your visit to our country
You really lived an American Dream!! Damn... I’m going to America next year as an exchange student and I’m pretty nervous
If you want a guaranteed nice host family, go to Iowa as well.
You will be fine! Any family participating in this program for exchange students are the best of us! We Americans are not perfect yet these kind of ppl are phenomenal, I hope u have a great experience welcome!
Damn, you flourished.
I'm glad you had such a wonderful experience I pray that the rest of your life is as amazing as well.
Seems like you had a great time! You really lived the American Dream in one year
Omg! Ditt år såg helt otroligt ut! Jag kom själv nyss tillbaka till Sverige efter ett år i Kanada. Så kul att höra andras historier!
Wow, you became an American hero! You beat an undefeated team. It is obvious you are a great young man. Good for you. I enjoyed seeing your hollywood ending in football. Glad you had such a great year.
BTW- Very different looking kicking style but some amazing stats! Impressive
Wow, you had the chance to be an American hero and you did it! It's obvious you are a great athlete. Congratulations on making the most of your exchange year. This was a great video to watch. I am sure both sets of your parents are very proud of you. Enjoyed your video a lot. You must have broken some ladies hearts also. Good job.
Damn, I'm really impressed with your kicking ability, especially for a high schooler. I'll bet you'er the best kicker in that high school's history. I'll bet you're one of the best high school kickers in the nation. You could probably get a full ride to a good football college. That could be your ticket to get back to america. Just show schools that tape and they'll probably pull some strings for you to get back to the US. And american football kickers are really prized here. Most people aren't very good at it. You could be on national TV kicking for a big football college. And college football is huge here. You could really make it here in a big way if you wanted. Go for it.
evan barnett omg definitely not the nations best kicker!
Loved the vid, glad you did so good! Greetings from Norway
Wow!!! What a year!!! Awesome!
Great Video! Thanks for posting.
7:55 on you will remember the rest of your life.
It's a game, relax.
mrbeaverstate he definitely will for sure
Excellent video documentary.
what an amazing year you had!
I grew up not far from Tipton (albeit a long time ago). If you want to meet real Americans, small town Midwest is where it is at!
Very true.
Great job looks like you had a great time in the USA.
The American dream ! So happy for you 46 yds !! Now I gotta find out if you tried out for college here !
Glad you enjoyed the states. You could had used your kicking talent and went to college here. Is that something you would be interested in?
AMERICA 💜 (French exchange student)
That's like a script from a Hollywood movie. An American dream to be sure'
Well done. Lol. Miss you already
Amazing!!
That's funny i'm in Iowa right know and live in onslow. This is very close to tipton!
Onslow?? I live in Cascade.
You could make it to the NFL as a kicker
awesome!
Thank you.
Sykt bra film! Jeg vil til USA! xD Jeg elsker Amerikansk fotball, jeg spiller som receiver for lura bulls i Stavanger.
Great video!
I just came home and just uploaded a video of my own year in Idaho, USA 14/15 on my channel.
Look like you had a great year. Awesome video!
Hey the Miami Dolphins could use a good kicker. Call them up! =]
Great video thumbs 🆙
Dang all those places in a year, I've barely been anywhere in my whole life😂
I couldn't stop laughing when I saw that they taught you how to twerk! bahaha
miss ya buddy
That kick wold have been good from 60 yards out
I'm coming to iowa for an exchange student too
Timothee Benitez What city or town. That's where I'm from and miss it a lot.
I'm in waukee
Great choice of background music. Nothing better than Coldplay.
46 yard field goal in hs is pretty good.
Damn, 34 and you have done/seen more in America than I have. That is not the normal at all and I grew up in a wealthy city.
cool
School spirit is a thing in America. Looks like you caught on quick but how different was it from school back home?
This video is way fun, thanks for sharing
Pablo Maylee it's a big difference. The system is completely different and the teachers teach in a different way. The biggest difference is the amount of home work, but overall It is easier to get good grades in America.
He got to surf at Waikiki - successfully.
Yaaay Norway
Okay. Did you make any tackles?
Ha! He's Norwegian so of course he's a great kicker like his countryman, Hall of Famer Jan Stenerud.
Tusen takk!
We had a Norwegian kid join our fraternity at Arizona State University. His name was Gaute Hellersia (hard to say in English), we just called him Norway and we have called him that ever since.
Wow nice kicking stats bet if you was to be a freshman to senior you could have played College football over here ^_^ How do you like American Football now?
I was just wondering which company you went with?
You went to see more places in that year than most Americas see in a lifetime. : )
Ignore the trolls and naysayers. You had a great time and that's all that matters.
After Norway you should feel right at home with an ugly Iowa winter.
I am going on exchange to america next year and i have couple of questions! first, which semester did you enjoy more, the first or second? because I am unsure if i should do one semester or an entire year. Second, do you think i should go in as a junior or senior, which year is better? Final, How can I make friends! what clubs or sports should i join?! I am really excited and nervous! hopefully you can help :)
***** I enjoyed the whole year, so I advice you to take two semesters!
Senior, because then you can graduate. If you are open minded and friendly it will be easy to make friends:)
Thanks for the info! Looking forward to all the new stuff :)
Lizzy Wentz how was your year?
Hey, did you go to a EF High school or something else? gr8 video btw
+AxmanGamingHD hey, I went to a public high school. Thanks:)
Cool kid.
You probably could have gotten a FREE College Education here just playing College Football!
You could def be a D1 college kicker.
45 to 46, where is the defense!? lol
+askild haagensen Do you know if you can play it in 10th?
yes you can :)
How did u do for get in the football team?
Were there other teams (like lacrosse soccer...) ?
+giulio de ceglie I went for a tryout, and I made the Varsity team. We had basketball, baseball, track, x-country, swimming, volleyball, but no soccer... it depends how big the school is :)
Was the tryout difficult? Did they ask to you something in particular? Thanks anyway for the answer ;)
+giulio de ceglie No, not really. But you have to understand the game.
+askild haagensen well, do u think that also if i am skinny , can i make team?
I am tall but skinny...
If you can kick a soccer ball, you will make the team!
+askild haagensen At wich grade were you at US?
Cluny 02 12th
What exchange program did you go through?
Music Creations education first (EF)
was it hard adapting to the school ?
alexia wiliams no, not really :)
Not to be a party pooper, but ist this entire thing expensive as fuck?! I mean seriously, to be able to attend to exchange year; it seems as if your parents should be damn millionairs. Great video by the way.
I think you should google it. On a lot of sites they say that an exchange year costs about 8.000 to 10.000 euros
Well, I am leaving this fall, and I am traveling with the same organization. It costs about 15 000 dollars.
Wish me luck :)
ciao!! I just found out your channel and i love your videos! I´m now an exchange student myself in italy! I've been making videos about it, i would love you to check it up! congrats for the great channel
Jeez. Hot much?!
You should have come back for college...get an education in exchange for kicking!
Hope you didn't get dain bramage from playing American football....that's what our paranoid citizens are all scared about now! hell, the megavolcano in Wyoming's gonna kill us all anyhow.
rap is crap
