This is one of my favorite tracks to listen to while I'm smoking my first bowl of the day.
I recommend this song when you are in your favorite time traveling vehicle and you are traversing the space time continuum. It seems to do the trick for me.

I love this kind of music. It perfectly captures the vibe of how people of the not so distant past dreamed about how the future would be. But now that idea of the future only exists as some kind of "retro style entertainment" of what could have been. And the fact that it all exists online just adds to it.

As for your prediction of the 2020s I hope you are right. 2019 just began right now as I wrote this, and I am disappointed that we didn’t get the future bladerunner predicted 2019 to be. I low key now wish for nuclear apocalypse at this point merely by contrast to this disappointing revelation. Then again perhaps it’s all just the champagne talking.

@@ineffablebeing4276 Was coined by a French philosopher called Jacques derrida who said that the dream of communism would forever have an impact on the future, however hauntology is now applied to everything, music, film, all art basically. Something hauntological generally stirs up something from the past that will forever be immortalised in memory, but it can also mean a space where which the past, present and future all blur into one. It's quite an interesting topic to read up on when talking about music and film, like a vinyl scratch on a modern track used as a motif rather than an imperfection of old technology.
It is called Retrofuturism, I think.

The fact that Unfound can merge such unique and different subsets like the percussion and the atmosphere and the rhythm into something that sounds like it belongs all in the same genre is both baffling and amazing. That, and the way everything is connected, the specific chords used, they're all set up in a way that enacts the biggest emotional or creative response from me, and I absolutely love that in a song. A song that can literally make you drop anything you were thinking about and take you into a completely place in your mind is a masterpiece.

Man every time I see a super modern night city in videos that's clean and technologically ahead I think of this song. This song is the epitome of super futuristic clean city at night time that's lit up. This song is basically the skylines on the planet Coruscant from Star Wars with things flying around everywhere. Makes me want to live in the future so bad. Music is a powerful inspiration.
Ikr, for me when I hear this masterpiece I always have to think about solarpunk, a future in which humanity lives in clean, green and peaceful coexistence with nature and environment while maintaining the highest possible level of technology.
