What's the point in making a 4 hour tutorial when the viewers can't even follow throughout the video.
There are some sections missing between 01:44:00 - Splitting and Merging Columns and 01:48:55 .
The files in 2nd module are not even present in the exercise files. It's so frustrating to leave the course after watching 2 hours.
so far it is the most valuable tutorial ! I recommand it !

Always watch your vids and they are well presented. I was following along with the second part of the course where debbie was doing the tutorial but I think there are some sections missing between 01:44:00 - Splitting and Merging Columns and 01:48:55 - Troubleshooting Relationship Issues the file looks completely different with Product Id and Location ID added to the main file but cannot see how this was done
I am also a bit sad that those parts are missing, especially the key measures! Generally I am grateful for the videos being uploaded on a free platform, alongside tutorial files, thanks @SimonSezIT!
I am about to watch the video, do you think that there are parts missing in the video where I might get stuck in the middle because last time also I got stuck watching the Power BI beginner course by Debby due to something missing in between after the 1st part of it, what do you think ?
It is really annoying when firstly they change presenters, and secondly when the steps are not reproducable.
Very good course, just feels like the beginner part was left started, like the course is chopped in the middle and they start again with intermediate content from scratch at 1:35:08

The data-set for the 1st instructor is available for download but not that of the 2nd instructor. Pls can you help with this or make clarifications?

Hi Sir, if there is a set of different Excel files and there are steps applied to them, like merge, combine and group, and there is an update in one/many Excel files in terms of values and it is not possible to update each and every column value, in this cane how can we replace the Excel file/files (keeping the same file name) so that the all the steps can/will be applied as it is after file replacement

So how did you get the KPI Measures table?
Hi Simon, this is really good, I have watched a couple of times, but i have a question and try to find the solution; how can I sort out category's value per specific month while maintaining other periods'' value as well? It seems Power BI only can sort out by total if keep every single month's value. It would be much appreciated if you can provide some guidance.
I think it is the Calculate sum formula with Filter in it with the specific month. So other filters wont modify this specific duration's value.
Everything was quite clear except how you were able to bring in the country ID in the table? Kindly explain!!!

To properly complete the tutorial you have to go to their site and subscribe for monthly or whatever plan you prefer, it's not really a complete tutorial here.

When i m importing the data i have several more columns but i dont get the '' amount'' column.

I have used data with Combine and Transform data in power query and then close & apply.
When I used card and drag the order I'd then it was showing 40K, instead of 1.22 M like yours. Even though I have combined data it is showing data of only 2016.

When I initially load Sales and then put it as SalesPrep and close and apply I keep getting errors but I did the exact thing as the instructor. It says its the date column however the date column has the correct data type. Confuse
Change Regional settings as the UK from File> Option & Settings > Option > Regional Settings

Is there anybody has the issue like me: The selection matches 0 of 1220615 rows from the first table? This occurs when I am in the step of merging products from Merge1 and Products table.
It's been proceed when I used fuzzy matching. But Why didn't it work without fuzzy matching?

how can power BI be installed on macbook
As far as I know, Power BI Desktop is not supported on Mac devices at the moment. Power BI Service is a cloud-based version that may be accessible using a Mac but with less functionalities as the desktop version.
@@SimonSezIT can I start from there then, I mean using the cloud based version because as of now, I don’t have access to Microsoft Windows and I really want to follow along on your power BI beginners to intermediate course…..

Presenter doesn't explain what BI stands for
Power BI is a business intelligence tool as defined in the video description.
This is so annoying. The course is not complete There are huge gaps between the beginner and intermediate tutorials. Why upload this video if it incomplete?

Hi Don. Sorry to learn about this issue. I tested the download and it worked. The file is a zip file, so check to ensure it's not getting blocked from some type of security or firewall.
