Chromecast Android Mirroring

After trying several ways to monitor my smartphone (LG G6) when making videos and using the rear camera: Android tablet, screen mirroring software to my Mac Mini, I thought I'd try Google's Chromecast. This dongle in tandem with an inexpensive 7" HDMI monitor might just be the answer!
Though there's a bit of lag in the video onscreen, I'm more concerned about seeing what I'm doing when I can't look at the phone's screen. I'll keep an eye on it to make sure screen sharing with the Google Home app doesn't take CPU power away from the phone and cause dropped frames or any other video issues, but so far, so good!

I should have mentioned in the video - this little HDMI monitor looks surprisingly good in person, just doesn't look great when you film a screen but this always happens when filming screens. Also, it comes with a little remote.
