- I think this goes to prove the old saying that a train layout is never really finished, even if it's just a loop of track on a paddle! Even though this board was only meant to test cheapie DC controllers with the Rokuhan Shorty Z scale chassis, after finishing it (I thought!), the more I looked at it hanging on my wall, I realized I wanted a little more color on it.
Most of this video is a time lapse so you actually don't have to watch paint dry.
Here's the initial video of this board:

I forgot to add a thank you for doing the Great state of Florda ! But I’m still waiting on you to put an eastern car on it on there so we can add Florida East Coast with a car running around it !!! And by the way the coconut and palms where trees with an excellent idea !!!! 🌊🐺
funny Project John!
Thanks Jürg. As you can see, I'm really enjoying these fun and quick little projects. Plus, nice to have a little hanging wall art :)
👍🏻
You had me fooled there for a minute !
I thought you were going with the champion colors ! Don’t know how hard it was for you to get that giant FEC Harold or Shield as well as (“Henry Flagler‘s signature”) but, is there a possible way that you might be able to get one for me as well ??? Price no object as long as it’s fair ! Now, here’s the clincher,
I would also like to get the (“Herald/shield”), that was used as the railroad went to Sea, before 1935 the trains running on the bridges heading towards Key West ! I know US-1, I know A1A, and I know I-10 !!! So yes I have done some traveling but, mainly in the (“south eastern United States ! I’ve never been above Fort Chaffee Arkansas I’ve never been above Or east of Fort Benning GeorgiaI’ve never gone West as far as San Antonio, Texas, in the state of Florida I know most of it like the back of my hand ! 🌊🐺
I can give you the link to the herald, I found it here: digitalarchives.broward.org/digital/collection/greatdays/id/475/. As mentioned in the video, I tend not to save my Photoshop files. An old habit of mine but I don't like to save files I create as I prefer to recreate them when needed. This was my last one as this board is definitely done now. Maybe going forward if I create decals I'll make the printable files available for download.
