  • Change isn't just a possibility; it's a promise. 🌟
Hi, I'm Sam. Two months ago, I made a stark choice to leave behind a conventional life for one on the road in an RV. This video isn't just about that journey-it's about the possibility of transformation for anyone brave enough to take that first step.
Today, I share not only my reality of life in an RV but also a deeper exploration into what it means to truly live on your own terms. From simplifying my life and old habits to finding solace under the stars in Nevada, this journey is about more than miles traveled-it's about discovering freedom.
Whether your change looks like hitting the road or picking up the guitar you've always wanted to play, it's about finding your own 'Nevada.' It’s about chasing your own stars. Join me as I prepare for my pilgrimage to Nevada, where I'll be pondering life's big questions under the vast universe.
Remember, change is about the small steps taken every day towards something meaningful. This isn't just my journey; it's ours. Let’s embrace the possible, together.
Please subscribe to follow along with this journey and share your own experiences of change in the comments below!"

🔗 CHAPTER 1: THE PREPARATION: • Chapter 1: The Prepara...
Feeling unhappy and stagnant, I took a drastic step to change my life: I bought an RV and moved into it full-time. This chapter captures my journey from the initial decision to the day I drove away from my house. Topics covered include selecting the right RV, personalizing it through insulation, confronting my fears of driving it, and envisioning the life ahead. This is where my adventure begins.
    ---
🔗 CHAPTER 2: THE TRANSITION: • Chapter 2: The Transition
Transitioning from a house to an RV wasn't just about a change of scenery, but a profound shift in lifestyle. Over six weeks, I lived in various campgrounds, adapting to my new environment. This period was challenging due to withdrawal symptoms from a medication, impacting both my mental and physical health. These videos document the struggles and triumphs, offering insights for anyone facing similar challenges. Watch as I navigate through this tumultuous phase to establish a new normal.
Each episode in this playlist delves into the everyday realities of adjusting to RV life-from learning to manage space and resources, to coping with the physical and emotional challenges of a significant lifestyle change. I share the highs and lows, the setbacks and victories, painting a comprehensive picture of the transition.
    ---
🔗 CHAPTER 3: THE PAUSE: • Chapter 3: The Pause
During this phase of my journey, I set down temporary roots at a CoE campground for up to ninety days. I'll move around to different campsites due to availability, focus on the day-to-day tasks of living in an RV, plan the next leg of my journey (a 2,000 mile pilgrimage to Nevada to do some stargazing), and focus on improving my UA-cam channels in the hope it will lead to at least some level of revenue to help me continue funding my new lifestyle.
While I may not be traveling in my RV during this time, I'll still need to manage my storage tanks and propane, do some maintenance to the RV, and settle into a routine so that my life has a sense of normalcy amidst the nomadic nature of living in a motorhome.
I call this phase "The Pause" because I've gone through both the preparation and the transition periods of RV life and now I'm taking a break to get more comfortable with the lifestyle, assess my progress, and set new goals.

🔗 CHAPTER 4: THE PILGRIMAGE: Coming Soon!
Looking ahead, join me as I embark on "The Pilgrimage" - a 2,000-mile trek to Nevada for some of the best stargazing in the country. This next chapter will not only explore the physical journey across diverse landscapes but also delve into introspective thoughts under the stars, contemplating life’s bigger questions.

I did this in one take. That's authenticity.
This was my first video: do you even recognize me? Trust me, change is possible.

Hello, how are you liking your internet? How much is the whole set up ? Thanks 😊, and do you use a monitor for your cats when you leave to know how hot or cold it is ?

I have a Govee device that monitors temperature and humidity, but largely I just prepare the space before I go. Today I had to leave for around eight hours. I put Reflectix on all the windows except one so Bailey had somewhere to look out, and I had the A/C on because I knew it would be a hot day. I also have cameras.
As far as internet, there are no good options. Not really. That's the only honest answer. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. Starlink is not that great. I have Travelfi as a backup and it's not so great either.
Perhaps if you're main concern is download speed, either of these is fine, but for my lifestyle upload speed also matters and I've had nothing but issues.
