I ship a lot of liquids. A handful of clean kitty litter in the baggie is cheap insurance in case anything seeps/leaks.

What methods do you use for shipping? I have heard there were a lot of regulations around shipping beer. Apparently shipping USPS is illegal (via their website), and UPS/FEDEX/DHL state they only ship for someone who is “licensed”. All in the assumption they are aware of the package contents.
