- Test driving a new car is always a nice experience, especially if it's a luxurious vehicle. Tesla doesn't disappoint when it comes to innovation and design. This car is sleek and modern with clean lines and the wood detail is just enough to make it regal. Too much wood and it'll just scream 70's station wagon. Not much leg room for the 3rd row seating, definitely will have to be children back there. For us we wouldn't need the 3rd row but they fold in the expand the truck space. The wing doors are cool but honestly, the sound would be a bit much hearing that every single day. Enjoy the tour!

Does the new X have dual pane glass?
Yes, the Tesla Model X has laminated safety glass, including on the windshield, Falcon door top glass, and rear liftgate glass.
I thought model X is quieter than 3,Y.It sounds pretty loud
That’s right in Michigan we have a bit rougher roads it might be the reason too
I have a 2023 X, did they take out the horn on right side of the steering wheel? Gaddamit!!
The right side of steering wheel has different functions it’s for right and left turns
So where did the horn go? I hated the horn on the right side of my 23 X.

The thumbnail is a old model x before the facelift in 2022 and then the matrix headlights added in late 2023.

does this 2024 model have front camera? What does that camera button on the steering wheel do?
That’s for right and left turn signals there are no manual gages on the sides of the steering
Lol, wow that reply hurt my brain. No, it doesn't have a front bumper camera, and the camera button on the wheel just brings up the dash cam app on the screen.

Funny how that test drive Model X is flawless except for the squeaky back seats but when you buy one, good luck getting one that is perfect. I picked up the same exact car 1 month ago and the rear taillight was scratched, the tiny driver's side triangle glass needed to be replaced, and the worst was the flacon wing door on the passenger's side was so misaligned that it took 3 weeks for it to get adjusted. While being transported by Tesla to the shop, the rims were damaged by the tow company getting the car on the flatbed. Brand new car by the way. The company that Tesla outsourced to realign the door also broke the window in that door that took 3 weeks to get an appointment to fix. Tesla refuses to replace the rim they damaged, only agreeing to pay for a repair after admitting to damaging the car. The falcon wing door is STILL not aligned but I don't care at this point. I am too scared to have my car further damaged by incompetency rather than attempt to fix it.
