1883 is about John's great grandfather, the original Dutton to come to Montana, and his family. I watched and fell in love with 1883 before I even started Yellowstone. I haven't started 1923 yet, but I've heard mixed reviews.
I came to Yellowstone via 1883 too. That show is amazing. I’m liking 1923. Great actors, my only criticism is the pacing of it.. 10 episodes was needed not 8
The only problem with the shows is the front runner is always an expensive A-List Actor (Harrison Ford, Sam Elliot/Tim McGraw, Kevin Costner, Mathew McConneghey, Jeremy Renner, etc.) So Taylor Sheridan ends up paying a premium to have them and likely can’t afford to have all these different shows in the same universe having more than ten episodes… Harrison Ford was probably the most expensive and most overworked, so we didn’t even get a full ten episodes… he’ll one of the best Dutton characters didn’t even get to ::insert 1923 spoilers here:: by the time the season was over. So yes… …the only bad part about the prequels is YOU WANT MORE and they just can’t deliver it fast enough. But with all the other crap on TV I don’t know if that’s a bad thing. So far Yellowstone’s SheridanVerse includes: 1883 1923 Yellowstone (2023) 6666 Mayor of Kingstown As far as I know, Tulsa King hasn’t been confirmed to exist in the same living world as the prequels and Kingstown, but people have been speculating that it may eventually be folded in with the rest of them.
@@davejay6855 throw in Lawmen: Bass Reeves (even though it’s based on an actual person named Bass Reeves it is considered part of the same universe) and 1944 (which is rumored to star Kurt Russell) and another rumored show set to be in the 1960’s. Although don’t know if it’s true on the latter
I like how Rip slowly begins to respect Jimmy throughout the show. Even in the first episode, when Jimmy took that branding and didn’t yell, Rip gained a little bit of respect for him.
Thats a hard ass line right there from Beth.. "when you go to war with someone, you want them emotional, cuz the more they feel, the less they think"... that's hard as shit!! 😂😂😂😂😂
I see being taken down to the train station as the equivalent of a dishonored mobster in New York, having his body thrown in the Hudson river. John Dutton is gangster for real
I haven't seen this tv show before I only see the trailers and I'm native American and I say that you are A Beautiful woman 😍❤❤❤❤ and I just subscribed to your channel how's your channel going by the way
The Train Station is based on a real spot on the Montana/Idaho border that's a No Man's Land.
The scene where Rip stood up for Jimmy is what got me hooked onto the show and what gained my liking and respect for Rip’s character.
Yes! Me too. I felt like the show was pretty good. Good enough to keep watching, at least. But this episode is what REALLY got me hooked.

This show gets so good, Rip is an absolutely amazing character. The show would not be nearly as good without him.

When you realise what the brand really means. We all joined the ranch with jimmy and we all realised in that moment we cant just walk away from it.
They all learned how to ride progressively through the filming of the show.
Yes there are rattlers in Montana and Copperheads.
Love a few, but a kinda gravitate toward the sensitive courage. They feel all of of the pain but do it anyway. Kacey all day.
