    Cobra was better for half the price 😂 review seemed pretty biased overall. LTDx had nearly same dispersion, with one outlier. Guy isn’t a robot

    I've got TSr in both the 13.5 and 18.0 and love them. For me, Titleist fairway woods are like Vokey wedges. As long as you're fit correctly, you can't go wrong.

      Agreed I have played titliest driver/3/5 woods or hybrids instead of my 5 wood for over a decade. Last year switched into tsi. I hit them all so pure (but before I had the correct weight shafts/stiffness in my driver I struggled a little) now I can’t complain nor do I desire anything else.

    Should have left the LTDx Max out and used the regular LTDx which is a better compariosn to the TSR2

    Way to go guys! Thanks for answering our requests. Nothing wrong being a fan boy but Danny pushes TSR too much too often.
    Ever considered measuring the exact loft on the heads? Are the club lengths the same?
    5w test would be good to add, i think most golfers dont game a 3w for the fairway.

    Thanks for this great review guys! I’m considering both the LTDx LS and the TSR3 fairways for my next fairway woods. The needle is leaning towards the TSR3. Still need to demo both before the final decision.

      I decided on the Cobra LTDx LS. Seemed to be a little more forgiving, a little longer and I was hitting the trajectory window I like to see with the Cobra more often with the Titleist going a little higher. I’ve had Cobra fairway wood’s for a long time(FlyZ+ & F9 Tour) and the LTDx LS is the best yet.

    Great video. A related idea I’d love to see you all tackle: How about a video on third-longest-club type options, that explores everything in that space between a 5 wood and a 3 hybrid? The LTDx LS 5 wood (which is tiny and almost like a hybrid-inspired fairway wood), the Apex UW 19*, the Cleveland Hy-Wood, the Cobra Forged Tec hybrid (which is obviously bigger and more fade-biased than most hybrids), Epic Super Hybrid 18*, and so on, plus maybe a TSR2 or TSR3 5 wood.

    Any reason why you chose the xmax instead of just the X? I noticed a lot of tests all leave the X off tests or choose max instead.

    Another great comparison review guys & explanation of why each head differs.
    Again, there is not much of a difference between the Cobra or Titileist heads.
    More interesting is to know, what is Thomas going to game??? 🧐🤔

    • @2ndswing
      @2ndswing  2 роки тому

      Thomas still struggles with fairway woods believe it or not... I still play the Apex UW - Thomas

    • @scottsainsbury8603
      @scottsainsbury8603 2 роки тому

      If I could get the Apex UW, I would probably game it as well!
      Unfortunately, I don’t have any quality golf fitters here that I would go too.
      It is a lot to do with finding the correct shaft and shops here just want to sell you the complete club, not help you find something that improves your game!!
      Again, it is a bit hit & miss when buying shafts that you feel that fit your swing as my experience is that shaft OME vary significantly.
      I hope your PGA journey is still on track. 🤔

    i dont understand how thomas gets a tighter grouping with the supposedly less forgiving lsr3 than the 2. same was true when he was hitting the drivers. he hit the lsr2 all over the place and then the 3 you could lay a blanket over all 5 shots

    Cobra's seem to lose value quickly so are bargains after a year when you factor in performance comparison....
    TSR seems a good progression from the TSi though from all testers.

    What “spin rate” should the average amateur be trying to hit with a 3 wood? Around 3k? Bc my driver spin with a tsi2 is around 2150 on average. (I’m on the lower side of spin)
    I swing a driver about 103-105 range (depending on how my body works each day)
    But curious is 3k pretty standard of what we are looking for?

    • @j10browngmail
      @j10browngmail 2 роки тому

      That’s your call I don’t like a lot of roll on my woods as I’m looking for a consistent yardage. I’m not looking to use it as a driver. I want to see a yardage needed and have a club to make that number or close.
