Very interesting upgrade indeed! Thanks for sharing this Bernard and by the way, your wife seems super good at swimming with one breath! Damn!

Great review! Have you attached any weights to the housing to counter the buoyancy?

Yeah I attach a tray handle and 2 video dive lights. That usually makes it negatively buoyant. Alternatively, I zip tie a sciba weight on it but it isn't as balanced.

Wonder if A7RIV would fit in this housing since A7SIII fits in older A7RIV seafrog housing?

I highly doubt it would. I think the A7RIV has it's own housing.

Any update on your thoughts of the glass dome ports?

So far, no scratches, but no visible image quality improvement

I’m trying to determine if a specific lens will work with a dome port, but the port’s description (or some system charts) doesn’t provide much detail. I need to calculate if the entrance pupil of my lens suits the dome port, considering factors like refraction and virtual image placement. Are there any calculators or tools you recommend for simplifying this process? I've read about the importance of aligning the entrance pupil with the dome’s center of curvature, but I'm still a bit uncertain. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What underwater wide angle lense do you recommend for Sony A7Riii?
