Hyperacusis is the reduced intolerance to sound and is caused by the facial nerve palsies which causes loss of protective stapedial reflex
That's causes paralysis of the stapedius muscle
Increased intolerance or reduced tolerance
Not reduced intolerance ... that just means increased tolerance to sound .. that is simply deafness
It is the enhanced sensitivity to the sound waves due to lesion in stapedius branch of facial nerve
Hyperacusis can be due to injury of facial nerve above origin of nerve to stapedius or due to injury of nerve to medial pterydoid supplies (tensor tympani).
Great!!🙌
Explanations 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you sir!!
really amazing fantastic
Thankyou sir ✨
Paralysis of stapedius muslce causes wider ranger of osscilation, leading to hyper-reaction of auditory ossciles to sound vibration. This condition is called hyperacusis. Paralysis of stapedius muscle occurs in lesion of facial nerve
What a coincidence sir!
I just came to understand this topic only..and u talked abt India Australia match in video...that was held today also!!😁😁
Injury to facial nerve- branch is nerve to stapedius
Or injury to Medial ptetygoid branch of Mandibular nerve, supplies Tensor tympani.
Or other reasons that affect attenuation mechanism cause Hyperacusis
Tq sir ❤❤ lots of love
awesome flowchart
Sir Loudness of sound has no relationship with its frequency ..... And if there's some relation please let me clear it
Injury of nerve to stapedius, branch of facial nerve
Sir types of hypoxias bhi explain kar dijiye😁
Simple n Concise !! 👍👍
Thank you sir
Injury or paralysis of nerve to stapedius
Facial nerve palsy. Nerve to stapedius is affected.
Notes where
Facial Nerve which supplies Stapedius muscle
Due to injury of nerve to stapedius which is branch of facial nerve.
sir...it is due to damage in inner ear..for ageing process...is it correct??
Yupp
Pinna external auditory canal tympanic membrane
Nerve to stapedius a branch of facial nerve
Paralysis of stapedius
It is outward movement of malleus not stapes
Stapes moves inwards
Injury to nerve to stapedious
Hypercusis is excessive hearing due to intolerance to loud sounds
When attenuation mechanism is damaged at that time?
Yupp
Due to damage of stapedius muscle
anda perlu melaraskan kandungan
It is a damage of nerve connection between ear and brain.
Sir u have explained from which book
visual: lateral geniculate body
auditory: medial geniculate body
Hope you are prepared for paper 2 physiology 😂 ATB
@@mohammadshehbazuddin8031 prepared? And that tooo physiology? Is it ever sufficient 😂😂
Stapedius
Watch ur speed......!!!!!!!
Injury to stapedial branch of Facial
P.S. Same reason for Hyperacusis in Ramsay Hunt Syndrome - Herpes infection of geniculate ganglion. , Is there any specific condition like this for damage of nerve to medial pterygoid ???(supplying tensor Tympani )
Tonic tensor tympani syndrome (TTTS) can cause TT spasm leading to tinnitus and hyperacusis. It is due to an overlying anxiety disorder, which causes a reduction in the threshold required to trigger the TT muscle reflex.
All the best for tomorrow :)
@@AkshatJuneja Thanks , right now we are really on Hot-seat 😅
Sir Hindi Mai padyea na plz
I think facial nerve damage
Stapedius
