- UVI may have created the most diverse and impressive sample library collection of world instruments of all time. Scan through the video to hear as I give a small bit of personal attention to basically every sound in this gargantuan library. Or, watch the whole thing as I attempt to make it entertaining. Either way, we both win!

This is one of the only reviews worth watching if anyone wants to buy this product (and part 2 also). Even though there's an UVI World Suite 2 now, for some reason most reviewers still choose the same intruments to present the library and most of the time they choose the worst ones (like the Erhu for example) LOL. Thanks for this vid NorrinRadd22!
Wow, Roberto! Thanks for the confidence boost! It's been a while since I was in the audio software review scene, but I am thinking it might be time to come back. I agree, totally though. Part of the reason I do it like this is because I KNOW exactly what you mean. :)

Thanks dude! I've been at this for a long time, but I still don't really know what I am doing, or what I am aiming for, but I am glad that some of my stuff is at least helpful for you. World Suite was SUPER easy to be inspired by on the fly.
I'm glad you did this even though it doesn't seem to be click-bait. Sad statement on society at large, but... There isn't much out there about UVI or the World Suite, so I guess that could be good in that these sounds may stay somewhat unique. Anyway, you've earned yourself a few more clicks as I'll be watching all your UVI videos. Thanks.
Thanks dude! I was legit blown away by this library, and didn't intend to make it such a long two part video. But the creativity was flowing, and I was actually just as curious as anyone to see what sound came next. Quite a few gems in here, to say the least, but otherwise, I can't think of a more well rounded world library. This thing really covers all the bases.

Ws2 is 39.15gb and the samples are crazy
Gotta love the exotic instruments---history's first synths essentially in terms of being dismissed out of hand and constantly teetering on the edge of vanishing in favor of generic orchestras powered by The Usual Narrow Suspects taking the world by storm in general as even the hyper regional fare wanes and flickers as they continue to try and get the spotlight for validation anew to secure getting passed on.

...well dang. It cut me off. Anyway I was saying, World Suites II is on sale now for 199.00. I don't see a just plain old World Suite, so I'm guessing it's sort of included in this expanded version. Do you know? Also, is there a separate 'engine' or 'instrument' I have to purchase to use this World Suites II product? Thanks for your vid and the info. I am your latest subscriber, probably. @@zipperhead101 Hi Kelly! UVI doesn't work on the weekend, but they sent me a message on Friday to see if I wanted to cover World Suite 2. Of course I do, but I have to wait until tomorrow probably to hear back from them. I will try to make a video for it quickly, and maybe even just do it live on UA-cam and have that save in the archive after for those who miss it. I will be able to figure out if it is brand new, or an updated edition of the original.
With UVI, they do have a free player called UVI Workstation, which does everything you need to play the sounds, some light editing, and it is free. The only thing you need to pay for is UVI Falcon, which lets to dive a lot deeper with the editing, as well as a lot of other more advanced things. I use Falcon be default, but by no means is there anything I did on here that Workstation could not also do.
From what I can tell though, there are 48 new instruments in this version, which sounds like an update to me, which may explain why the original World Suite is no longer visible. I'll know more tomorrow! :)
