When this Covid thing ends, I’m spending a week vacation in Bangkok. I will stay 4 days in Pratunam and 3 days in Sukhumvit. There is no need to choose. You can stay at both.

Thanks for the insight of these 2 areas. I stayed in Silom when I came for my vacation in Thailand for a week. Not to mention beautiful Lumpini Park. Perfect for morning workouts n jogs. Next time, I will explore Sukhumvit too. Overall, I think every area in Thailand has some special vibe that has something unique to offer.

But if it's easy to take the BTS to Sukhumvit, shouldn't it be easy to go to Pratunam from Sukhumvit by BTS aswell? My thinking is that you can always travel to do your shopping in the day time, but it's so sweet to live just nearby after a good night out. Of course it depends on how much you plan to do either. If you shop a lot, you'll probably want to go back with some stuff to the hotel before going out for round 2
I am lockdown in BKK and it is really sad to see the ghost streets and so many friends don't have jobs, let us hope this Covid19 can end soon, I fear many people will not recover from the financial loss this time has brought.

I pray it will be okay for people in Thailand and rest of the world. I'm going to Thailand for 3 weeks when the corona situation is resolved. Going to bangkok sleeping in sukhimvit sheraton, excellent hotel. Bangkok is my fav city in the world.

I've stayed in Sumhumvit area everytime I'm in Bangkok. Last month I was in Asok area and terminal 21's foodcourt was affordable! Thabks to your videos, I was able to explore more places during my second trip to bangkok last March!

2 of my favourite areas, however if I was young on a tight budget and wanting to party I would go Khao San road. have you covered this?
Partying In khosan is good but staying there not a good idea this days its too much crowded and not sane like before the old days has gone unfortunately.

As a Thai who once have slept at Khao San, I would recommend hotels/hostels around BMA Bangkok city hall instead of Khao San.
If you stay here, you still enjoy partying at Khao San. It’s totally walkable distance from hotels/hostels to Khao San.

It extends from asok to nana main road which is from soi 19 to soi 3 and once you enter soi 3 you have the arabic community night market. Enjoy

All these videos are old, Bangkok is on lockdown with curfew from 10 pm to 4 am....Whole world is on lockdown
Well it's an informative vlog, so the footage is mixed till march 15 so that people can schedule their trips once everything is back to normal.
We have to be positive and not depress people that everything is closed or there is only Corona in this world.

I could not find the Pratunam market during my visit. I was told that it is the same store as Platinum Mall.
Opposite to platinum mall. You cross the road and it's on the other side.

In sapan Taksin near lebua hotel. Very easy to reach take bts to sapan taksin and walk 5 min to the hotel
