Brings back a ton of great memories growing up as a teenager in the 70’s watching this great energized magical band! Thanks for sharing this Bob! You are the Max Master!
Awesome and priceless. Long live the mighty Max Webster! Hard to imagine that any concert you go to these days there are without fail a few hundred people directly in front of any given stage with high def cameras in their phones with ample memory to record an entire concert in HD... it's a shame that in 1979 the technology was not there to capture history like this rare Max footage, yet at the same time, it's better that we relied on being in the moment and our memories of amazing concerts, and there are not a sea of camera phones being held up blocking the view of the show and the experience.
Peak Max, what a beautiful 3 minute nugget of gold. Thanks for your continued dedication to the wonderful Max Webster, really wish I could have seen them in concert just once
He ended up owning a some KFC franchises and did very well for himself. He's retired now, and still plays bass - he's a great jazz player. One of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
@@MaxWebsterArchive so that explains Dave's delectable, smooth Bass work ---chicken grease! Blessings to all who are a part of the mighty Max Machine!!!

The greatest band no-one knows about.
They really were a great party.
That's precisely what I titled my radio show on Max a couple years ago:

...apart from the equally unknown & awesome Be Bop Deluxe of course :-)
❤from Buffalo NY, where Max is our adopted son.
This band should have been alot more well know than they were !!!!
Any scraps of live Max Webster are appreciated! I was fortunate to see them with Rush twice in Cleveland back then. Thank you for all of your efforts!
Thanks heaps max and bob !!
This is absolutely spectacular!! Takes me back to that tour. Saw them in Ottawa for that run.
That was just a few weeks later - lots of photos from that show !

Bit of an odd question, but do you know what happened to Paul Keresy after The Hunt?
He ended up teaching and playing in a band called The Wheelers.
Does anyone here know what happened to bassist Dave Myles after he left the band?; I can't find any info about him.
an ongoing mystery, yes.
