Dead Memes when Chernobyl happened choppers had to go over and drop sand on the reacted core to stop the fire , anyway a chopper hit a stationary Crain on the other side of the reactor and the chopper plummeted down to the bottom , so that clip kinda looks like it
4:35 If you run your helicopter for too long the rotor will eventually unscrew all the way off. When you land, the ground crew screw it back down again ready for the next flight. :)
If you want an actual realistic damage model go see IL-2 Battle Of Sturmovik or something along the lines of that. Wings don't just fall of the bend as well, etc. IL-2 has a much much better damage model I suggest you look at it. Just sesrchIL-2 battle of Sturmovik crashes and take downs
DCS's damage model is actually pretty abysmal in my opinion...they've done an okay job with the WWII planes, but everything else basically just explodes in a predictable way. I've seen videos where three planes flying close get hit with a big missile and all lose their left wings and spiral down to the ground in the exact same way...
Dcs has a really bad damage model imo... IL-2 1946 literally did a way better job... Its also a realistic simulator feat. Only ww2 planes. The game is from 2006...
Just wait until he sees how the passenger jets work with the mods for them. It’s really fun just going up and pretending it’s a terrorist plane, and then shooting it with your gun. Aim for the wings, they are a fatal point. You shoot those, and it will most likely come off. Try to hit the passenger plane right at the start of the wing, when it connects to the body of the actual plane. They go into a spiral, and crash. I usually get up nice and close to aim and usually have to roll out of the way of the wing that comes off.
DCS is a great simulator. However, I don't understand why they put so much effort into aircraft systems, flight physics, and procedures. Then continue to let visual damage, flight characteristics after damage, and AI behavior be so horrible.
Concerning damage and post-damage flight, it honestly depends on the aircraft. The A-10A and F/A-18 have the most detail when it comes to damage in that sense.
Suddenly I don’t feel too bad for my mishaps 😂 Once I accidentally killed a friendly while on multiplayer. Man Was I embarrassed . Got kicked off too 🙄😟
3:16 THAT was a REALLY good helicopter pilot. Considering that once you lose the tail rotor, the torque flings the body every which way to Sunday, and he landed THAT cleanly... MAD respect!
Hey man! Yes, I've read your description part of your "channel band-aid and situation" and would like to share some thing with you about the things you're mentioning there. It's now like 2 years later, but maybe you are still wondering what causes the grow in viewers especially for this kind of crash videos. Well, there can be various reasons these kind of videos got many views. It might be that it's just a popular and trending thing, with very low competition (back then). Or you just posted your videos on the right time, or maybe before the trend of "crash compilations" started. It's a bit guessing where all those views came from on this particular video. But I do know why your other videos probably won't get as much views. One thing I learned is that you have to get your channel into one specific subject. So, I see you love everything around planes, but this is still too broad. If you love something about a specific game like DCS, you have to get deeper into it. Like focus only on DCS Crash compilations. Or if you like dogfights / gamplay, only focus in DCS dogfights, for example. That way you will get people on your channel who like that specific type of content. So, you know probably have a big audience who loves DCS Crash compilations. But, these people aren't really interested in DCS cinematics for example. It's not that those people don't like the other stuff you make. It's that UA-cam thinks that those people won't probably like the cinematic videos, as they are engaging with DCS crash compilations. So, UA-cam won't show your cinematic videos to the audience that likes crash videos (or, at least a lower amount being shown to this audience). If you do like multiple things about planes or flight sims, you can create "sub-channels". So a specific channel for crash compilations and a specific channel for cinematics for example. I'm not telling this from my own experience, but from the things I learned with UA-cam courses so far. I'm personally still in the phase of trying out UA-cam, see what kind of stuff I like to create, and see what my audience likes the most. I still have to do it myself, as my own channel isn't really that consistent yet and also contains some other stuff than DCS. But I really feel you and your thoughts and wondering about why some videos get more views than others :) You're doing a great job, and I'm glad that you built up such a community.
Elevation Gamer it’s really not hard. Learn in stages. Learn the flight systems, then learn the weapon systems. You’d be amazed how fast you can pick a plane up.
Antonluisre I actually recommend tutorials from grim reapers or red kite since they only take five minutes and are much easier to understand with no down side.
The pilot got crushed and died when it collided with the tail of the c-17. The A-10 got shot by ground fire. Also the reason rotors fall off here is loss of control and rotor inbalance that results in mast bumping.
Depends, I have an old machine with a gtx 1060 and 16gb of ram and have to play with lower graphics. I get about 40 to 25 fps most of the time. I recommend you check out the hardware requirements for it on steam or the ED website

Wasn't terribly amused by these because a lot of them were basic pilot errors on the clear primary task, or understandable taking fire situations (we can argue they lost SA which is a basic tactical error). YT search "DCS: Deadly Trees" -- I should clip 15:21 to the end. Yes, it was a basic error at the end, however I demonstrated that I was capable of flying low and not hitting trees quite well while searching for and destroying two SA-11 installations (radar and all launchers, the launchers proved they could still fire at me with some level of threat even without the primary radar vehicle). I was basically done with the major threads at the end, even glanced ahead to make sure I wasn't heading towards a tree or power pole (you can see my TVV is nowhere close) only for me to turn quickly enough into one within a few seconds of that explicit check. It captures my live reaction to what should have been an easily cleared mission after that point. 7:15 in that same video shows how real the SA-11 threat I survived was.
@@ronnievandyke6296 Wasn't trying to hype myself. It took too many words to frame the context of the crash live reaction and highlight how relatively derpy it was at the end.

And how to the rotors keep falling off? Is it like some kinda over rev putting too much strain? Or just a bug?
