Dana announces that Khamzat moves to MW and Colby appears. What a surprise.

Dana White says a lot of thing. If there is one thing we all learned, nothing is ever set in stone. Who knows Chimaev might come back at WW but if he does, he's gonna have to cut and manage weight. I think Chimaev sitting at 189 or 190lbs is the weigh Chimaev should manage around. Ensure he gets a 8 week training camp for each one. Against Diaz he only had 5 weeks or something like that, as it wasn't announce until a month before the fight that it was Chimaev vs DIaz.
If I was team Chimaev, I'd also make sure in fight week that Khamzat comes in at 180lbs. Start cutting the weight slowly throughout the week, and by the time he really has to cut he should only be about 5lbs down he has to do. Then again I know nothing of it.

Colby can decide between fighting a lower ranked guy which brings him no benefit at all. And between waiting and then fighting for the title. I think it was more like a tactical decision by Colby because he knows that Dana would give him a shot because Colby knows how to get people into the arena

Anyone with a common sense knows Khamzat is telling the truth about Colby turning down the fight
He missed weight. Colby can't rely on someone that might miss weight.
Yet chimaev coaches have said in interviews he can't make ww again so how can we trust his word? On the other hand Dana said at the 285 presser that the ufc have offered Colby multiple fights and he accepted all of them, you think Colby turned down fights and was awarded a backup to a title fight? Think logically

Not really, at this point Kamaru would just want to salvage whatever is left of his legacy, and a fight with Khamzat is just too high risk for that so I don't think Usman would accept that fight.

Agreed, if you pay close attention, you can hear him stumble through his lines here and there. He is not a natural at trash talk, his lines are pre-scripted.
His act is worn out and cringy. He repeats the same trash talk sound bites that he did a year ago. He is one of the most inactive fighters in the division with no real justifiable reason ( like an injury). He clearly leveraged the Masvidal fiasco into getting a guaranteed title shot from the UFC by not pursuing legal action over that incident. I would not be surprised if the UFC also agreed to keep Khamzat away from him.
Trust me Covington is the worst possible champ you can have in that division. It will be a lot of a guy running his mouth off and ducking everyone.

People forget that Khamzat is a wrestler first. In a 1 on 1 mma/streetfight it always ends up in the ground. If you dont have good takedown/grappling skills youre done. Striking works very well if you can hit first and your opponent dont have a chin.
