apparently Tamil Voodoo are going to tour india and worldwide 2009! amzaing live experience...this was the first ever track of the first ever concert...it got a lot crazier.
I grew up in Malaysia in the 70s to parents from Tamil Nadu. My father would get into trance singing Murugan songs. All he wore was a wet vesti during his trance. It was pure devotation. He didn't dance any differently than these two artistes. If my father would live now, he would be over 100 years old and yet he would approve of this singing and dancing.
As a Tamil, i say to my fellow brothers and sisters who hold Muruga very dear , do not lament or take offense. Let's share Muruga with the rest of the world ; in more than one way. No fear, Tamil culture and language is old and will evolve with the Diaspora- this is fact. Let other people learn from us. She is unique and exceptional. Do not abuse her.

I love "velavaa" and it is a powerful song indeed,they have mixed it with some african elements.but hav to say the south indian drums are prominent and a feast to my ears love it.im almost sure this is from reunion island.the only thing that bugs me is the name of the group.
