THIS MY FRIEND IS THE WRONG WAY TO INSTALL THE MOTION DETECTOR. FIRST OF ALL YOU'RE USING A VERY VERY LOW COST DETECTOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE A TAMPER SWITCH. SECOND THE RESISTOR IS NOT CALLED AN IN LINE RESISTOR BUT AN END OF LOINE RESISTOR, (EOL)!!
Thanks for the video! After several hours of trying to get my new P1832 DSC to work (kept thinking zones weren't secure), i saw the video for the EOL resistors and slapped myself for being dumb and notputting in the resistors. I ended up disabling the SEOL and DEOL feature on the control panel, so i didn't have to put resistors in.=) But it pointed me in the right direction, so thanks!!!
