my system is 24 yrs old, last yr needed a new bell box..last week, the mice eaten through 2 cable in one week causing me unbelievable annoyance as i couldn't believe it was animals that caused my system to go down......good vid by the way....

Nice tutorial, only de Airco is standing in the way. A part of the detection field is a blindspot
Replaced a sensor but zone light is now always on. Sensor works fine but wont trip alarm when activated.

+Vinod Gangwani depends on what is causing the false alarms. if there is nothing in the environment contributing to the false alarms ie. windows being left open/fan running causing curtains/blinds to blow around, insects or Ghekos crawling over the lens, it is quite possible the PIR may be faulty.
it is good to rule out all possibilities prior to replacing.
Having a motion looking at an AC unit is NOT recommended.
if you want to damage your system do it the way he did it
