I have the upmost respect for Bryan Cranston. He started from the bottom and is now headlining a movie with a performance that looks like he may get an Oscar. He's played funny, dark, sinister, and does it all with so much heart. I will actually cheer if he wins best actor but I think it is Leo's year.

I worked with Bryan not too long ago. He is literally one of the nicest/most humble humans on earth. He made it a point to engage in conversation with everyone on set, even the lowest intern on the crew totem pole. Kudos to him. But also, this looks amazing.

Tom Hardy for Legends. He could be nominated for that film.... There's too many people that are so good, they could be nominated for an Oscar, let alone win it.
I haven't heard anything regarding Legend. Only that it looks interesting and people seem to think Hardy could be nominated. But, just cause critics don't like Legend doesn't mean it's not good.
I hope Legend is good. I'm curious of how Hardy will play real people. I have faith Hardy will be good regardless if the film is good or not.

Pedro Gonçalves He's half right.The movie was offered to one director who turned it down, then another director started shooting the film but was quickly fired, and finally Kubrick took over. His assertion that Kirk Douglas did any directing is suspicious. I don't deny that he's heard that information, or that Kirk Douglas may have even made that claim, but it does not from everything I've ever read or seen appear to be the truth. Kubrick directed the entirety of the movie once he was hired.

I just saw Trumbo today with me family, Bryan Cranston's acting was just as impeccable as Walt's product, he like James Dalton Trumbo, and the Straight Outta Compton boys of N.W,A. believe in the Freedom of Speech, but when they speak the brutally ugly honest truth, everybody in police HQ and Congress goes flipping bananas.

Bryan Cranston is bound to win an Oscar soon! Trumbo will be nominated for best picture. I can't wait to see it! He made Malcom in the middle a show you wanted to watch because of him and has had a very steady and well developed climb to where he has arrived to today. I love everything he does and so does everyone else. He's one of the most brilliant and addicting actors to watch on any screen.

This movie pushes the Kirk Douglas heroic myth and trashes the memory of producer Edward Lewis, who was the REAL force behind getting Trumbo screen credit, and proper payment, for "Spartacus." Lewis dragged a reluctant Douglas along, kicking and screaming.

BRAD PITT truthfully he played 2 characters on Breaking Bad... Walter White, and Heisenberg... And he played both parts beautifully... With that said, his ability as an actor goes far beyond just Breaking Bad, and while he may not have had any lead roles before breaking bad he has always been a great actor who played many memorable roles... He will eventually win an Oscar imo

To the Coen brothers' "Hail Caesar", I respond with Trumbo. I don't like to compare movies, but if one simply says "it's all business and business is good", the other one gallantly responds with "it's a good goverment, but everything can be better". To each its own. Also, message aside, this was brilliantly done, in wonderful simplicity. It flows and Bryan Cranston's acting flows with it like only he can deliver.

I am really looking forward to this. I mean, the subject matter, plus there's Bryan Cranston. Louis CK, John Goodman and Helen Mirren, but... Jay Roach is directing so... Let's see if he can deal with this kind of movie. If you don't know who Jay Roach is, he is a director who has previously done comedies. He has done some bad comedies, too (Dinner for schmucks)
