Just ordered mine off of eBay with free shipping for $34 plus tax…around $36 and change. Gonna go to my local fireplace store and buy a bag of wood stove pellets so I will be set. I have a couple of 100 year old cool handle cowboy skillets for cooking with it! It and the skillets will be stored in my SUV for roadside trip camp cooking.
Dude, can I save you a world of hurt? Forget the wood: Fill with bbq pellets until right below the air vents on top. Start your fire from the TOP of the pellets, using a little kindling or firestarter. It will burn for an hour and make 100% use of the gasification process. The flame won’t get ridiculously high…you don’t have to keep feeding it…and it looks gorgeous.
@@outdoorsaddiction1085 I just bought one. Returned one of those stupid square collapsible ovens that just arrived from Amazon TODAY. I’ve watched a hundred YT reviews on this stove, read all the comments, and finally found a video of a guy doing it this way. 99% of the “expert” camping gear vloggers had no idea, but a lot of commentators did: It’s like night and day. The way flames come out of those top vent holes is like magic. An incredible even, steady burn.
Jessie, whats good brother.. I wish there was a Menards in Northern Arkansas. We always have fire bans, mainly because i live in a rural area. Great review bud. That little fire pit would be great for the horrible bug seasons, to smoke the bugs out the cold seasons for warmth. Love it brother. Where did you get that knife Jesse? I'm a knife guy, especially if they very durable.
Funny thing this fire pit is designed to not smoke even though it does but very very little. As far as the knife I bought it off of Amazon. Look up Mora Garberg and you’ll see it.
Solo campfire pot set fits perfectly with this….great buy
I just ordered mine, picking it up from Walmart today. Thanks for Sharing.

LOL!!! Being from Wisconsin, I find his comment "a store called Menards" funny. For the WI people Menards is as common a brand as Chevy...

Thanks for the tip man. I’ll try that when I decide to actually cook food on it.

Nah, Firebox Stove for the win.
Firebox stove is a awesome stove but cannot be used (with wood) in fire ban locations.
Howdy
