I love body glide it’s amazing stuff for chub rub , Making my way through this video and then on to what you didn’t take , feel like I’ve been with you the whole way I use a packing cube from treadlite gear for my food , brilliant bit of kit
Picked up an EE Copperfield wind shirt from V&P recently, incredibly light even compared to my old Montane. I do like the fit to, look forward to using it in the Cairngorms in a week's time.
I just did for you 500ml in fridge for hour To a boil 2.47 mins and 6g used. Not full power as flame comes out side I also did exactly same for MSR Windburner and 6g & 2.35 mins to a boil not much in it time wise and same fuel The firemaple in first experiment was low ie prongs in gaps I did again with pot on burner not in gaps still 6g fuel but oddly 2.36 mins to boil. Go figure. I put water in fridge too. I think same time. No wind as did inside.
@@TonyHobbsInteresting.. I remember watching Hiram Cook vids Abt alco stoves and boiling times. Results of those tests were - distance between a pot and stove is very important for efficiency and speed, also pot width. I m gonna try petrel pot with windmaster 3flex!
ty for the vlog
Thanks Simon
I'm sure the gear is well upto the task in hand Tony, all nice and lightweight:)
Thanks Sandy hope you're well 😊
