Kobe's 2008-2010 finals runs were easily more impressive than Lebron’s Miami finals runs tbh. 11 out of Kobe's 12 playoff opponents in his 3-year span were 50 win teams while Lebron faced only 8 in his 4-year span. Kobe also won back to back with Gasol as his only star teammate while Lebron notoriously had Wade and Bosh who were still all stars every season even though their games diminished over the years next to LeBron. This run cemented Kobe's legacy and I don’t think it’s talked about enough
I think only in 2019 east was better..? Portland 3 seed and Philly was actually a threat w Jimmy. But yeah other than that I don’t think I can remember once when the East was better, lol. I guess you could argue 2022?
The 09 West was stacked too. Each team won 48 games or higher. Jazz was the 8th seed. Suns won 46 games and aint even make the playoffs. Also my Rockets won their 1st playoff series in 12 yrs, which is nice.

Bynum was an all star, Odom was 6th man of the year, artest and ariza were solid, and coached by Phil. Those were really good teams
