On your note about the discord being “mandatory” it isn’t. It helps for sure but you can quite happily play on the rain servers without being in their discord.
I have left twice because I found the atmosphere hostile at times frankly. Im back now and have been back for a while, just dont say its “mandatory” when its really not.

By 'mandatory' I suppose I should've emphasized it's only needed for the account logging process otherwise you cant keep a character.
