I am not sure that I have commented before, but I have to say that your videos are excellent. They are energetic, straight to the point, helpful, and they always point to God. Thank you and your husband for all the videos you create, I really enjoy them and value them. 🙏 God bless.

Hi, your channel is absolutely amazing! Feel like you came to the same conclusions than me! I am a 27 yr old housewife from Germany and also a Christian and minimalist. Since the birth of our first child I am using a dumb phone. I want to have more time with my daughters. You are such a role model to me! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I feel as if somebody would understand my thoughts!! Feel so drawn to you!!!

Melli, your message really warmed my heart! Thank you so much for making the time to write that and for being here ❤ I absolutely love that you are already using a dumb phone! I'm currently doing a 30-day phone challenge so I sooo relate to that!

I haven’t posted on my social media in a year. I had a miscarriage and it was a pivotal moment for me. In that time I realized who I could really lean on and share my deepest moments with. And that not everyone deserves to know everything about you, I don’t know what certain people would do with that information. I also thought… even if I did get pregnant (I haven’t yet) I now understand for the past 4 years what it feels like to be infertile and struggle with it. Every time I saw someone post a baby announcement it made me feel inadequate. I never want to make someone feel less than and the same people who I can’t trust with my miscarriage story aren’t the people I want to share my successes with either. I send photos individually to people I care about and keep them updated. Not the whole world who may not have my best interest. It’s changed the way I view everything. My baby I lost taught me so many the things and I’m forever grateful.

Thank you so much for sharing such a deeply personal and meaningful reflection. I am so sorry for the loss you have experienced, and I am truly inspired by the wisdom and perspective you have gained through it. It is incredible how you have turned such a heartbreaking experience into an opportunity for growth, reflection, and a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
The decision to share your journey with only those you deeply trust shows such strength and discernment. It is so true that not everyone deserves access to our most vulnerable moments, and it is a beautiful way of protecting your heart and honouring your experiences. Your compassion and sensitivity to others’ struggles, especially those who may be dealing with infertility, is also such a testament to your empathetic heart. It is a reminder of the power we have to either uplift or unintentionally hurt others. I just prayed for you-for your peace and for God's blessings in your future ❤

@@messy2mastery thank you! Yes it took about well over 8 or so months to come to this growth. I was so scorned and depressed, hateful. It’s also in this past year I found my faith in god. I haven’t gotten to my goal of a family yet but even so, I am placing my faith in his hands that this journey has a purpose. I feel so much more at peace giving this to god because trying to control something I can’t control was actually going to drive me crazy. I had to find forgiveness for a lot of people in my life, and finding god saved me so much heart ache. Thank you again, you say it better than I ever could! You have a way with words.

@@TotallyCoral I can feel the peace in your words, and it is truly inspiring to see how you have placed your trust in God, even when your goal hasn't been reached yet. Surrendering control of something as deeply personal as this takes incredible strength. I so relate to what you are saying about letting go of control-I love to plan, control, and know what’s next haha Aaaand time and time again, God shows me it's not always in my timing but always in His perfect timing ❤

Additional comment on your cooking segment! Always marry and look for your person with great qualities like willingness to learn, resilience, open mindedness. Traits like this are my more important than any skills they currently have.
Haha my parents never cooked, for reference I never made cookies with my mom. That’s how little I knew. So when I first dated my husband he said he loved sweet potatoes. The only way I knew how to make a potato was cut it and fry it in wedges. So I did that. Months later as we grew closer he told me that when he took his first bite it was super gritty and realized I never washed the potatoes because I didn’t know you had to. LOL. I also was asked to thaw the turkey for thanksgiving and I literally took it out of the freezer and placed it in the counter for 7 hours. We had a laugh when he came home and realized what I did.
Now I cook everything from scratch and I’m an AMAZING cook. I love cooking for people and bringing joy to people through food! It’s amazing.

Thank you for sharing these stories - They made me laugh out loud haha It is so encouraging to hear how you went from not knowing much about cooking to becoming an amazing cook who brings joy to others through your meals. This is where I currently am at. I've just learned some cooking and baking recipes because I also want to cook everything from scratch (from a health perspective) I just learned to make cinnamon rolls and NAILED my third trial (I know, not the most healthy but gluten-free, kefir milk, and maple syrup so does that make them healthy-ish? haha)
I love how you and your husband were able to laugh through those early moments-those stories are the kind that make a marriage stronger and more fun over time. Your grit and resilience are so inspiring, and I love your heart for serving others ❤

@@messy2mastery yes me too! I started really getting into it from a health perspective. I also sub a lot of dairy with kefir too! Don’t substitute it in egg nog you’ll thank me later LOL. Thank you! I am loving your videos. I love how you talk quickly and your points are made in 10 minutes or so with a lot of great examples. That’s awesome though I love hearing when people are learning to cook from scratch more, so many people don’t!

@@TotallyCoral Thank you so much for your kind comment ❤I am so glad you are finding value in the videos! Yes, I have IBS and we went off dairy for a few years, until we heard about the animal-based way of eating that focuses on meat, raw milk and kefir, ghee, raw honey, and fruits. I am still working my courage to check out raw milk but I was willing to give it a go with kefir. And my tummy has been very happy with me so yay! Thanks again for watching and sharing your thoughts!
