Oh I’ll be in so much trouble if I buy that after you take it back in lol Thanks for the video showing off the lens. I think you did a great job manual focusing with only the focus dot as your rough guide. The red flower, at least in my TV screen, looked beautiful and very well focussed. I find the same with my DSLRs and manual lenses but Im too stubborn to move to mirrorless lol
Thanks for your comment, I'm really tempted to buy it though after using it. I'm going to put it up against my Panasonic 50mm F1.8 lens and see which produces the best images then decide. Cheers.
I'm pleased to tell you that you won't get into any trouble RE: Zeiss lens, I purchased it today, couldn't resist it. I'm sure there will be heaps of other lenses that will get you into trouble with the wife. Cheers for your comments.
Looks like a well made lens and takes great pictures. I especially like the one of the daisies. A little bit out of my price range but I'm sure it'd be worth the money.
It is a well made lens unlike a lot of the plastic lenses nowadays but that's the way of the world we live in. This lens will last a life time with proper care, don't know about the plastic lenses though with the electronic bits in them. It does produce some nice photos, I'm going to test it against my Panasonic 50mm F1.8 plastic fantastic lens for next week, weather permitting, should be an interesting test.. Cheers.
Hi, no worries, glad you liked it. Coming up soon will be a comparison of this Zeiss lens against the Panasonic 50mm F1.8 that we own. How are you going with the camera I sent you? Cheers.
