Model roller coaster Space Rail 5, Assembly tips

Assembly tips for building the Space Rail level 5 model roller coaster kit.

The coaster has 5 paths: The elevation screw has 3 sides each releasing the ball into a different main circuit, and 2 of them have switches alternating the ball between 2 sub-paths each, for a total of 5 combinations.

I got this for Christmas as well. Complete nightmare, but good fun. One question... The instructions for the rail lengths give one length per instruction. But with the twists and turns of the rail, one side is often longer than the other. I'm going to assume that this doesn't matter, and I'll just shorten the longer one as necessary. Just seems that it's an obvious missing part to the instructions. Either giving 2 lengths, or adding not to worry about it. Please note, I'm 39! Well done you. :)
