Hey hey hey, no exploding for this guy. I am not afraid of pool catching up, I am afraid that when they see this stuff and think that it's too difficult to learn for their liking, they might quit poker. I don't want empty tables .LOL. Charge for you content brother . Please. Don't give it away like this.
Great analysis....spent like hour watching this and making notes as BB vs BTN is frequent spot and there's a lot to learn from this. It's nice you also show us good runouts for barreling, checking etc. so it's not just exact hand analysis, thumbs up
Men it is pure masterpiece, not that one only, all of yours vids. I watched all and every second of your magic and sometimes was even envy to push a like button, so not that many ppl more can see it(dont wory, now I like evey time)). Every time I can not believe how smart u are and wondering how good player u could possibly be. First of all, I started to write u to ask if u giving private lessons and how much are they? cheers, huge love and appreciations
Thanks for your content, as they are ever so helpful. I would just like to point out that you mentioned the solver doesn't xr [43o] in your SIM but the thing is results are distorted - Ja.Sam is one of the guys who still range down-bet a lot of boards unlike a lot of other HS guys who mixes. If you start node locking for Ja.Sam to range bet 33% OTF, the already small EV difference between calling and xr [43o] will converge even further - this is because the stronger hand candidates will be mostly (and proportionally) concentrated in the bigger sizings. Also, perhaps LLinus is exploiting the fact that Ja.Sam may be under-def against an aggressive xr freq. (I know this is likely less probable since Ja.Sam is a HS crusher but its a reasonable possibility). Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming
This is actually good analysis. When I watch these types of videos, they are usually useless. Good job by the video maker actually knowing what he's talking about. I think Linus' play is ok. He got the dream runout to keep barreling. Would be curious to see how he navigates the hand on less favorable runouts.
In this time of fear of panic we needed the calming influence of Finding Equilibrium, thank you sir. Additionally your diversity with intro music is quite impressive. Now that I've watched the video I find it odd that the solver calls 100% with TT and is only calling with QQ about half the time it gets to the river with it when BB is turning some Tx into bluffs and has zero Qx river bets. Doesn't this normally lead us to want to fold TT more because it's blocking part of the bluff range and none of the value range, while QQ blocks nothing?
Another awesome video. It was really cool to see how I intuitively approach x/r'ing mirrored by the solver. I do find that my player pool under defends flop and turn to a x/r and bet line. But because of this they get to the river with a pretty defined range and there isn't much EV to be made overbluffing. Even in this exact run out it isn't hard to defend optimally. Call with all 2 pair+. And if villain does not arrive at the river with much one pair that's not Ax (Tx and pocket pair) and defends too much Ax he/she can easily be overdefending in the spot. Definitely shifts my strategy to more linear value. Just giving my perspective on a player pool that is playing far from solver approved. Myself included.
Great video I miss poker. It was a really fun and slightly profitable hobby for a few years. I have to admit that all this solver stuff just frustrates me. Logically though I know it's probably the best way to study.
@@ScottHedley I agree. I had to assess my situation honestly and all things considered, it was better for me to leave the game, so I did. I have great respect for the people who can pull it off but they are very rare.
Thanks for the great content.I have a question regarding the 3-bettiing range on the flop.I saw that the solver 3-bets JJ,QQ,KK,AT and the lower sets most of the time and some gutshots only at a very low frequency.Shouldnt that range have little more bluffs?I think it would be cool if you could make a video going more deep into 3 beting a flop check raise on these dry boards and how to balance it.In general i have a just calling range in these spots i dont own a solver to calculate the frequencies and ballance both a calling and a 3betting range. Thanks for the free content once again.
Hi thanks for the great video. One question, how did you get the xr-frequency for the entire board subset solve? Originally i can only ouput the betting frequency for each board, but not the xr-frequency or x-call frequency and so on. Would be great if you can help. THX
Love these vids. I see you're using the simple products. You like them over PIO? I like the look and layout of simple post flop vs PIO. You can do all that with PIO it's just a little more digging some times.
Can i ask you something about the solver? You put in the solver the cards that both players have? Or you put only the ranges of both players? The solver gives the strategy of the two ranges or the strategy of the players with their own cards?
I would advise you to increase an accuracy of calculation in settings otf and ott to avoid getting those hard mixes strategies. Nash distance of 0.192 not good. You can always use ultra high turn and river since calculations there takes 5sec-1min at most.
Under .2 I don't see huge differences usually- but you are right, for these videos I should solve down closer to .05 to make sure they are as accurate as possible.
@@FindingEquilibrium 0.2 per hand = 2bb\100, roughly that is from 7 to 25% of your total winrate, depens how many seats active at the table and the stakes. I would say it is a huge difference? (Ofcourse it is also based on your opponents capability to make advantage of your strategy but still)
In my experience, the difference in overall strategies between .2 and .1 in most situations is not dramatically different (e.g. there may be slight changes in frequencies/EV/equities based on things like blockers/backdoors). And my view is that since no one can come anywhere close to playing true nash equilibrium strategies, the EV/Chip loss from not solving further down is not recoverable as a practical matter. So I tend to focus on understanding how the solver is constructing overall strategy/counterstrategy rather than the exact frequencies. That being said, I do agree that for the videos I should be solving to a low nash distance.
@@FindingEquilibrium but the strategies get "simplified" when you use better accuracy. A combo with unintuitive blockers might get betted 15% of time at 0.5 and an intuitive combo at 85% of time, but when you reach 0.1 it might become 0% and 100% making the actual strategy much more simple and intuitive to implement. This is particulary true river or more generally when ranges are very narrow.
@@NoLongerGrilling i think OBORRA is a bot preflop and flop .....turn and river he did some intersting non GTO moves ...so maybe was a human w a solver asistencia .....so has some merits lol .....i want to know what @findingequilibrium has to Say ....it would be a good analysis ....
Its a good video but i think that in this particular spot gt is useless. Its much easyer to analize it from logic point of view and play it from that pov too. When the villain raises Small, bets 33%, and than calls check raise and obercall, its a clear sign of strengh. He should'nt have continued there and thats it
now, more than ever, in these trying times, we need more Finding Equilibrium content.

Let’s hope young, ambitious, hard working, poker players don’t find your channel. One of your best yet my friend!
Too late. I found it! And im GTO hungry. Nom nom nom!
how about OLD ambitious poker players?

I knew there was a video coming for us during quarantine 😍 I hope you decide to work on more videos during this period
Man the editing gets better and better every video
Excellent!I remember you had a CR strategy video before with Chidwick and Vogelsang hands which was great, but taken down.this is even better!
FINALLY a new video.
Love your work btw.

@@FindingEquilibrium yes
As far as I can tell QQ appears to block more bluffs (QJ, Q5, Q4)
