The tree you planted is a breadfruit tree. It's a very delicious starchy fruit. You can boil it, roast it and fry it. It produces a lot of big fruit. I love this fruit. In the Caribbean, we have a lot of them. Use the grass to mulch your garden. It will decompose and become fertilizer for your plants and it keeps the soil moist.
You’re Such a happy soul; I am not surprised that the neighbors like you. Keep up the good work. Being close to neighbors is very wise. You cannot go wrong❤
Your hard working has paid off Jael, your home will one day be beautiful like that of your parents and more. You are my best UA-cam homesteader, I love your videos and watch them to the end ❤

Wow! Beautiful. Your compound is taking shape and your will get there sooner than later. I admire your passion. The fruit tree from phillipine starcy looks like breadfruit. I will look for you in the near future to getting a cutting😅
Congratulation, you are right hard work does pay off, but your work is truly inspired to keep going and not give up. It is surely a very productive day for you, blessings to you always.
I'm so excited for you. You home is coming together so well. I'm working on my home as well but i have just dug a borehole and fenced off. Slowly but surely. Good job.
This is so satisfying, the arrow roots are big and look yummy, you are eating heathy, relocating to the village was the best decision you made, am looking forward to relocating in the village once am back in the country
Always worth it hanging out with you. Didn't know that one harvests yarrow and plants the same plant. Thanks for that info. Hard work but nice when it bears fruits. Keep it up.
My dearest sister Jael....how i love your village life, you're always so positively influencing so many people 💖. Keep up the good work. One day I will definitely come and visit you 😊
Jambo Jael🥰 you are such a hardworking lady! Your hardwork will always reward you. Thank you for allowing us to tag along on you journey! Your “work in progress” compound is looking good. Continued blessings and favor be your portion! 💜🥰🙏🏾🌹🫶🏾🌺🙋🏾♀️
Very good workout Jael!! As for living with chickens, that's very normal in the village. My grandma's house had female livestock (including cows and calves) while my grandfather's had the males. Separate huts, too!😅
Always look forward to hearing from you Jael, very hard-working girl indeed❤❤. Surprised your Picnic table is still not yet home. Fundis can be very disappointing😢
Your home is coming up so beautiful. Hard work pays, Jael. I love your strength and determination. Your arrow roots look delicious, and the avocados...... waaa looks yuumy 😋 😋 Keep up with the good work dear.
Working the land at home is so therapeutic. The varied chores affords the worker much needed exercise (bending, squatting, lifting, swinging, walking, pulling, throwing); different scenes (indoor decor and tasks); outdoors in fresh air, sanitising, germ-killing sun, under the blue sky (interacting with birds and animals, plants, vegetation & trees); neighbours (the awareness of community and not being isolate); markets (a place to give, exchange, trade and learn);...etc The change of seasons helps boost the morale because each season comes with it's blessings & challenges to overcome. Never a dull day as you keep pace with the rhythm of life. It is from the sweat of your brow that you eat an honest meal. At the close of day you pray and thank God for life, strength, health and wisdom to labour. You then lay down your weary head with a clean conscience knowing you have neither robbed anyone nor have you been slothful. There's dignity in labour and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Jael knowing you chanell through Lynn through a interview also linet visiting you like what you said planting tree fruit for future lifes looks like your planting a breadfruit tree
Wow am so jealous 😂😂 my taro roots are not doing very well maybe because I use piped water. Am planning to uproot them and plant them again and see if it will work. I thank God too am surrounded by very good neighbors. I always look forward to watching your videos coz I learn something every time.👍👍❤️
That looks like breadfruit tree sucker you are planting, very healthy and nutritious, best when it's roasted, can also be boiled, the English introduced it to Jamaica in the 16th century,it now grows wild all over the Carribbean

Congrats. Those are mouth-watering Taros. A question on grazing livestock within the compound, does the cow-dung not burn the grass? We tried grazing ours but stopped on noticing how it burns the grass, unless the dung is picked immediately. Thanks
