So the funny thing about Ken in this game is that he is the only character who changed where he points his evoker. In the original Persona 3, fes, portable, P4 Arena ulitmax, the P3 movies and in the Manga, Ken holds his evoker to his chest (while you can't really see it in the original games, Arena and the movies show that he holds it to his heart specifically), Ken was the only character who held his evoker to his chest. However in Reload it was moved to his forehead, the same way Yukari, and Akihiko summon theirs. If I had to guess why it was changed I'd say it's probably because of the way reloads UI looks. In the summon screen it's likely that Ken holding to his chest would make the graphic look messy and hard to read. I have to say this is probably my least favourite change in Reload because there was at least a little symbolism in Ken holding to his heart vs. everyone else holding to their head.
I would have figured him NOT holding it to his head was some form of censorship since he is the youngest and maybe that would not have passed for the age rating back in the day or something.

Funny thing to note about the first Aigis reading hangout, its actually Atlus retroactively putting in one of modern Personas more subtle recurring gags: People saying they cracked their ass and others taking that statement literally.
The first time it happened was in P4 when the Investigation Team first fell into the TV World and if Yu asks if they are okay. Yosuke will say he cracked his butt, to which Chie will respond with “Of course it is.” In P5 it happens right after they dive out of Kaneshiro's Palace with the treasure. Ryuji mentions it, Yusuke concernedly asks if Ann’s is also cracked, Ann denies it and Makoto of all people does the punchline. And now here in P3R they take the opportunity for Aigis to do the bit, though in this case no one had to take a fall to initiate the joke.
Honestly, if I were to choose between this joke and some of the other recurring gags modern Persona likes to do, I would probably pick this.
I'd choose this over yet another "hot springs" gag, that's for sure.
It's such a weird recurring gag, wonder what P6's version of the joke will be? Maybe they'll double whammy us and throw in a "For real?!" line at the same time 😆.

Maybe they’ll throw a curveball at the “Hot Springs gag” in the next persona game with one male party member and one female party member trying to peak at the other side and both bump into each other, awkward silence between the two and swear to each other to never mention this ever happening to anyone. At the very least the guys won’t be beaten up due to a “misunderstanding”.

since you got shinji at this point, i suggest having shinji, aegis aigis, and koromaru and beat a floor boss. there's a banter after fighting the boss that can be easily missed since you usually bring yukari or ken to heal.
It may also help that Aigis now has a healing move, so with her and a Persona that has its own healing skills for Makoto, there wouldn't be much issue with beating the floor boss with the three of them.

To be fair, ANY living creature can be albino. Even plants! Albinism is incredibly recessive trait that can be inherited through genetics. Red eyes are also a part of albinism (for animals at lease) since the sclera of the eyes are no longer white but clear, so the red is actually the blood vessels in the eyeballs you’re actually able to see now. (For human eyes, they appear blue most of the time. And albino plants can have white and even translucent leaves)
For one of Elizabeth’s request about finding music, you need to go to the school’s audio room. It’s not marked, so I can see people missing this.
Hey, so you may be hesitant to use Shinji due to his FES counterpart and high level. However, Shinji is just straight up the best damage dealer in the game, arguably the best party member in the game. His FES counterpart, if you remember, was originally the worst party member due to his moveset. He was all Physical, and he barely got any support capabilities. He sucked in FES, because that game was mainly magic centric, and he lacked support capabilities or magic unlike Junpei and Aigis. However, Reload favors Physical users more than FES, and Shinji is the epitome of this. He has great physical skills, and Bloody Charge, which grants both Crit Rate Boost and Charge on Shinji. This skill is broken, because it complements well with Shinji's Theurgy condition, being that when he's half health or below, he charges faster. This means that Shinji will get his Theurgy likely twice or even three times per boss fight, and complimented with Bloody Charge, Shinji can one-shot Full Moon Bosses, and even the Reaper when he's leveled up for that fight. As such, he will prove a vital asset late-game. Still, he's at a high level right now, so it's best to use him only on Monad Doors, since those don't give much exp for whatever reason.

Here are some tips that will help you complete few of Elizabeth's current requests:
To complete Quest 51, you need a Nihil Blade blueprint from Tartarus and 5 Black Quartz to obtain the Outenta Mitsuyo.
To obatain Topaz in order to obtain the Vintage Yagen from the antique shop and receive Aojiru from the pharmacist to complete Quest 57, it is dropped by enemies in the Yabbashah Block and collect at least 2 for good measures.
Now that you could go back to school, you are able to collect a CD, which is in the PA room on the 2nd floor and next to your homeroom classroom, to complete Quest 39.
Side Note: I believe that the reason some quests have exclamation points is because some of them have deadlines on them and the exclamation points helps draw your attention on the deadlines of the quests. Though some quests with no deadlines but with exclamation points, such as feeding Mr. Kitty, are hidden achievements of the game.

Man when it comes to the film festival and going with all the characters, after realizing they had changing dialogue based on whether or not you did or did not go with them, I felt so so bad for not doing mitsuru because if you go together you have a great time and she’s happy but if you don’t she didn’t know what to do with her free time and got a headache, : (

So less than fun fact, all the new party members you got were originally pretty bad in the original.
Ken and Koro shares the same problem of focusing on an element which only has insta kill skills before p5, which were useless against bosses. Not to mention the fact that theyre weak to the opposite instant kill element to the one they use, which is especially bad for Ken considering the amount of enemies that had Mudo skills.
They tried compensating by giving them a secondary element, Zio for Ken and Agi for Koro, that they cant use very well due to low magic stat for Koro and lack of boost/amp for Ken. Not to mention they didnt have any buff/debuff in original (Koro got (Ma)Sukukaja only in The Answer).
Meanwhile Shinji is a mostly physical character which is nowhere near as good as in Reload, he does get Charge as his third learnable skill, however in og p3 Charge/Concentrate only increases the next phys/magic move by *1.9x* instead of at least 2.5x in games after p3 making it a waste of a moveslot. And since party member moveset is fixed in og, you cant replace it either. In Reload, he hits like a fucking truck with Bloody Charge combining Charge and a 3 turn crit rate up that you usually only get from skills such as Revolution. The HP cost isnt even a drawback and can be a positive, as you can keep him constantly in just below 50% HP to get his theurgy pretty fast, which can also get affected by Bloody Charge, so he can literally crit through any bosses even those that nulls physical.
And once he gets his other passive skills, he hits like a f*cking nuke.
Go to floor 88, for no reason, just do it.
Fun fact about Castro (I didn't see you read his lore) but he is the twin brother of akihiko persona, as to why they look alike. There's more about his persona and how it relates to his character but I won't say anything about that (even if you already beat the game years ago)

I haven't been doing this as often as I like because of real life stuff but I managed to find some time today. Since today's episode was all about Koromaru, let's talk about his persona Cerberus.
Cerberus of course originates from Greek mythology. He's noted as the fearsome guard dog of Hades where he prevents dead souls from escaping the underworld. Although popularly known for having three heads, in reality the earliest sources do not give a definitive number of heads for the dog, though it is almost always multi-headed. For example in one of the earliest depictions of Cerberus in Hesiod's Theogony Cerberus has fifty heads while Pindar identifies that Cerberus has over 100 heads. Apollodorus identifies Cerberus as having only 3 heads but instead as over one hundred snake heads. Finally the Byzantine poet John Tzetzes identified Cerberus as having fifty heads. The idea of Cerberus possesing snake-like qualities was common in Greek works and even commented on by Plato. This snake-like attribute seems to be derived from Cerberus's parentage. According to Hesiod, Cerberus was the son of Typhon, the father of monsters and Echidna, a half snake half nymph creature. The more common three headed depiction is attested to by Sophocles, Euripides and the mid sixth century cup from Lacon. Indeed Cerberus was a rather popular subject in artwork on cups and vases which often depicted him with a carrying number of heads (including some where he only has one head). Most of these vases depict Cerberus in his most famous myth, Heracles's twelfth labor. Heracles's twelfth and final labor was given by Eurystheus, king of Tiryns. He was given the task to take Cerberus from the underworld. He was given this task not because Eurystheus actually wanted Cerberus but because he thought the task was impossible and wanted Heracles to fail. Heracles managed to successfully journey to the underworld. In the earliest Homeric sources, it is implied that Heracles fought Hades for Cerberus, the sources claiming that Hades was injured by Heracles's weapon. However, this is a comparatively uncommon interpretation. In the more common version of the myths such as Apollodorus states that Heracles politely asked his uncle to borrow Cerberus for the task. Depending on the version, Hades either willingly gave the dog to Heracles or challanged Heracles to subdue the dog using no weapon. Heracles would then complete the task by wrestling with Cerberus and bringing him out for Eurystheus, terrifying him. This also crosses over with another myth of Cerberus: one where the "heros" Theseus and Pirithous tried to capture Persophone but for their troubles were imprisoned by Hades. While gathering Cerberus, it was said that Heracles freed Theseus but was unable to resucre Pirithous.
Cerberus's depiction in Megami Tensei is very old. In fact Cerberus is actually the first of two demons in the entire franchise. His first appearance is in the Digital Devil Story novels where he is summoned by protagonist Akemi Nakajima as a guardian for his demonic rituals. Unlike the other demon Nakajima summons, Loki, Cerberus is loyal to his summoner. Cerberus is summoned often throughout both the Digital Devil Story books all the way into the New Digital Devil Story series of novels. When the novels were adapted into games, Cerberus of course made his transition. In the extremely simplistic dungeon crawler Megami Tensei by Telnet, Cerberus was in fact the only summonable demon. Cerberus of course remained as one of Nakajima's demons in the Atlus version of the game. In both the book and game portrayals, Cerberus is depicted as an almost lion-like beast with a snake-like tail. Curiously this version only has one head in contrast to his more popular portrayals. It is for this reason that most subsequent portrayals of Cerberus have only one head. When the Megami Tensei series shifted to the Shin Megami Tensei series, Cerberus followed. In the very first Shin Megami Tensei, Cerberus was actually the protagonist's dog Pascal fused with a demon to help his master. Here he was a valuable early game demon but disappeared due to a teleporter accident only to appear far later in the game. In the immediate sequel to Shin Megami Tensei 1, Shin Megami Tensei 2, the exact same Cerberus appears under the command of the Madam, a student of the first game's protagonist. Madam loans Cerberus for use by the protagonist Aleph before permanently joining his party later in the game. Cerberus would then go on to feature in pretty much every single Megami Tensei and Persona game to varying degrees of importance. For example in Digital Devil Saga, he was the "Atma Avatar" of major character Lupa. Meanwhile, his first appearance with his three headed design comes from the game Soul Hackers. As can be seen, Cerberus has a long storied history with the Megami Tensei franchise appearing in every game to some capacity and this trend will likely continue. Cerberus's skillset tends to vary between games. He is either associated with the agi line of spells or the mudo line of spells. He also generally has strong physical attacks. Many early games also give him the sameracarm spell making him extremely useful for reviving party members. In literally every game he is of the beast race. However in Persona, he tends to alternate between the Strength, Chariot, Fortune and Heirophant arcanas.
I find it so interesting that ken and shinijiro's theurgy conditions are the opposite, for ken his condition requires his SP to be half while shin needs hes to be at half HP and for the dlc outfits akihiko wears the first akecki outfit while shinji wears the other outfit it makes sense since their personas look the same and they're brothers in lore/ mythology

Albinism isn't dog breed thing, its genetic condition that occurs in every animal as far as I know, including humans :'D It means you have much less melatonin so no coloration of any kind in skin, or hair or etc, eyes are red, your eyes are sensitive to sunlight and increased risk of skin cancer from sunlight, also skin in general sensitive to sunlight and being burned by sun
Regarding Shinji's and Akihiko's personas. In Fate, the two of them are summoned together as a servant for the Saber class. However, the passive skills of the Avenger class are included. That is due to how Castor was killed and seeks revenge.
So yeah. Castor, the elder twin, is an Avenger. While Pollux, the younger twin, is a Saber. But they're summoned as Dioscuri of the Saber class. It's also should be noted that Pollux is also a skilled boxer.
Also, Pollux was made to be female in Fate. Most likely to make sure that faternal twins are able to be repersented. Plus it makes sure that Castor's design isn't used twice due to how it would be difficult to tell them apart.
And finally, the voice actors for the twins Gemni are Brother and sister who are also twins.
So not only did we get 3 new party members in the span of a month, but one is a human swiss army knife that can fill whatever roll you need, one is the best damage dealer in the game, and one is a dog! (oh and I guess the dog has 2 theurgys or something but that's not important)
one thing I really like with the Chidori/Junpei scenes is that it's clear the only reason she starts taking Junpei remotely seriously is because he showed genuine concern for her health after seeing her hand bleeding. Given her backstory as a member of Strega (as a reminder we already saw her in scenes with Jin & Takaya), having a total stranger show genuine concern for her health with no clear gain for themselves must have shocked her system quite a bit.
Everyone got greatly buffed in this game, but man, they treated Shinji RIGHT. He easily does the most damage out of any character. Doesn’t matter if they’re not weak to his attacks, they still die easily anyway. Coupled with the fact that Castor has no weaknesses and his abilities for hanging out with him make him hit even harder, it’s no wonder most people keep him in the party all the time. Myself included!
I think I love this new version of Changing Seasons better than the original.

I have a major problem with Shinjiro having that phantom thief outfit. Yes, Shinjiro and Akechi have [Redacted], but unlike Akechi, Shinji actually regrets it
Hey Nico since you got Shinji I feel like I can let you know that just like the other male party members shinji get his own Link Episodes to flesh out more of his character. Unlike the other male party members who I recommend completing as soon as you get them for shinji I recommend you wait. Not very long just until you next available day off from school be that a Sunday or holiday. I wouldn’t worry about Akinari since the game gives you plenty of Sundays to finish his link. Saving Shinji for those days helps save time that can be used for school social links. Honestly I had to redo half the game because I didn’t prioritize school links but because I saved Shinji for those days I was able to complete all SLs.
Also you can do the things to initiate the link but only by hanging out with shinji will cause time to pass.
Nico, if yoy rewind back to the scene between Junpei and Chidori (8/31) where Chidori walks off, you can see blood dripping on the floor before Junpei calls it out. It's just a nice attention to detail that a lot of players can miss.

Persona music is SOOO FUCKING GOOD and the games have such distinct vibes from each other too! P3 has to be my favorite overall (though P5, especially Royale, has some of my top single songs; notably Rivers in the Desert, and all the songs that play leading up to and in the Royale final boss). For P3, "When the Moon Reaches Out to the Stars" is one of my absolute favorites; and "Memories of You" makes me fucking cry.

Nice! Now 3 new members joined S.E.E.S. in battle and have also extra event scenes. That is so cool and I love the DLC outfits for all of them, because they looks so great and fitting, too. ^_^
Also in the FeMC side of Persona 3 Portable is Shinjiro the Moon Arcana/social link and Ken the Justice Arcana/social link. I am glad that they have their own extra event scenes in this game with the Male Main Character, too. ^^

Nico im sorry but maxing everything might be hard at this point, you kinda should have had Courage up to max by now. That being said Academics wont be needed much until much later but still.
The main issue is doing Fuuka, as she and party members arent available during certain parts of the story. You might still be able to manage but well its gonna be tight.

F.E.A.R is a Pokemon strat that stands for Fucking Evil Annoying Rattata, and you are an effing dick if you do it...
Here is how to be a dick.
1. Take a low level, usually level 1 Rattata.
2. Give it a Focus Sash, which makes what would be a killing blow leave you with 1HP.
3. Teach it Endeavor, which reduces the target's HP to the same as the user.
4. Teach Quick Attack, which is a priority move, a group of attacks that will always go first unless the opponent uses a move like it or has specific counters. By now I'm sure you can put the pieces together in your head.
Here is how it goes.
Turn 1. Use Endeavor. Your opponent is highly likely to be stronger and faster than you, so will hit you first and would knock you out. But that is where your Focus Sash comes in. You will be left with 1HP. So when you use Endeavor, you will reduce them to 1HP as well.
Turn 2. Use Quick Attack for the kill. Priority moves go first no matter how much slower you are. And no matter how weak you are, you will always inflict at least 1 point of damage.
Of course you can only use this strat once per Pokemon, and people that know of it will see it coming from a mile away. But It's a classic, and they even used it in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, so that was neat! Sorry, Pokemon is a fixation of mine.
Iirc, they also used it in Sword and Shield, with an NPC who’ll give you a Focus Sash if you beat him. Though they last the priority move as they mostly want to just shock you with the first half of FEAR strats.
It certainly caught my friends and I by surprise when we saw it used in the actual game.

Luckily that happened early on and I didn't leave most rescuing missions to the very last day until late game, so I didn't lose anyone.

Im the portable version when you choose the female protagonist you have all the male partnes social links.
So junpei is the magician arcana.
Ken is the justice, Akihiko is the star, Shinjiro is the moon, and even koromaru is a social link having the strength arcana. There are also two people who are exclusive of this game who are Saori the hermit, and Rio who is rhe chariot arcana, the rest of the social links are the same as the male route.

That vest looks to be in reference to the vests of rescue dogs. if that is in fact the case, the heart my signify basic medical supply. I.E. first aid.
When you say "Aragaki", the A is said like "Ah", the same way as Akihiko. It isn't said like "Ay". It's "Ah-Ra-Ga-Ki", pronounced exactly the way it's spelled. When you learn the rules of how the Japanese language pronounces things, it's fairly simple to pronounce things, because everything is pronounced consistently. Because as it turns out, English is a fucking stupid language that just makes up rules. Generally, with Japanese, that doesn't happen (as far as I know, I don't know much Japanese but what I can pick up from what little I have learned, it's very consistent).
