Makes sense, you mentioned its supreme gas so it has a more octane than regular gasoline so it should stay good longer, maybe a year if you're lucky but after 2 years, this is pretty impressive. This is actually a good sign that your fuel tank is in great condition and is properly sealed if it looks this clear and burns this well after 2 years. Did you notice a strange smell when draining the gas? Usually gasoline develops a strange smell when it goes bad. Like a little hint of something on top of the smell of gas. If the smell isn't too bad, you can still make good use of that gas. It's not good enough for a nice car like what you have but you can still use it to soak small wood scraps and make Firestarters.
I bought my motorhome after it had been sitting for about 10 years. 1982 GMC motorhome with a small block 350. It fired right up and drove the 70 miles home no problem at all. Although gas won't last forever, it does last a lot longer than people give it credit for
My 88 Chevy sat from 2020 to 2022, I put a battery in it and fired it up. No problems, I did run straight to the gas station and filled it with premium.
You seriously did not just put it all in buckets and intend on keeping it that way? Cause all I can suggest is putting it in gas cans cause the fumes my guy.

The gas smelled great but wasn't up to snuff to run the car at peak performance.
It might not run the best, but i have lit 25-35 year old gas before

Just curious, did you add any stabilizer to it when you parked it? That'll help preserve the gas too
No. I usually fill them up in the late fall and they sit til early spring. Never an issue.
@@OldeCarrGuy that's some good quality gas then
10 yr old gasoline will burn--just take swig and it will burn all the way down your throat!😲
I purchased an old van that has been stood for 11 years it started up with a bit of encouragement and I drove it home 14 mls
Of course it will burn😂
Hoping your insurance company doesn't see this video. Yikes. Gas in a 5 gal bucket? Pouring it? The shop fan might be enough to set that off ...
It’s was fine!

Don’t worry! I recycled it!
