The reason Tyler chose to steal from Spencer is because Spencer was one roll away from finishing his Pirate set for 20 points, and he was pretty much guaranteed it since he had a slow-mo dice. Yeah, he could have stole the pants from me, but it wouldn't affect my score at all since I only had one piece and a full Mario set, thus giving Spencer a free 20 points.

In his defense though, in Mario Party 6, 8, and 9, if you hit the dice block right on the number, there's a one second delay so you usually get the next number up. I didn't know it was instantaneous either. Though, if he did get on the space, he could've gotten the remaining clown suit and still got the double points actually.
