I hear you. I miss the days when videos were about eyeshadow colors and combinations, showing different application techniques. Now, it's you need this brand and this brush and this is my favorite because it's so shiny. Most of my videos are tutorials because that's how I learned when I first started watching UA-cam. I miss those UA-cam content days.

I can totally relate to the social anxiety aspect! As I've gotten older and worked on myself it has gotten better but I think getting back into makeup has helped as well. I don't wear makeup every day but when I do, I feel like it gets me in the right frame of mind to face the world with more confidence.
So true! I always get anxious before outings of any kind, so I take extra time getting ready, and when I look good, I feel good!

My sensitive skin loves the Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Serum. It's expensive, so I purchase backups when it's on sale. My face hated the Dr. Dennis Gross Vitamin C Serum and others. It can be challenging finding one our skin loves.
Surprisingly, my dermat told me that I should never use Vitamin C as I have very sensitive, oily skin. I legit get rashes and swollen eyes if I apply any active these days on my face. 😢
WOW - this is one of my favorite eye looks! I totally understand being anxious before events/outings. I even get anxious before family get-togethers (hoping I get to sit next to people I want to sit next to, hoping the conversations go well, will I be put on the spot, etc.) so you are not alone in this! What a fun event! I had a Palladio lipstick years ago, and am now going to their website, as this is making me curious about the brand.
I love this Guerlain foundation, I don’t think they sell it anymore though, which is said as think it’s one of my favourite foundations ever. Xx

Midnight Sun is underrated. Because it has been on sale people thinks it it not as good as other PMG. I love it and every look I have ever done with it. Beautiful earthy colours.

some people are sensitive to vitamin c, that serum is 10% vit c if I remember right so although I love it I could see it causing some irritation if you use it too often

Oh I can relate I love gym but I hate it at the same time for that reason! But after going to therapy and healing I realized that I’m actually not introverted but have social anxiety and deep down extroverted. Still not easy to deal with it though

Omg… Palladio was the first ever eyebrow powder I bought!! I couldn’t afford what the MAC cosmetics girl used on me (after I got my makeup done there) so I went and found something at the drugstore. This was like 2006 maybe 2007??? I haven’t used it in YEARS, but wow… memories.

I really felt your feelings with social anxiety. People tell me I’m not awkward and I don’t seem awkward but it’s cuz I’m trying really hard not to be Lmfao I feel so exhausted after having to interact and be social. People would never understand the things that give me an anxiety because it’s so easy for others.

I have the saaame issue with social events 😄 I'm also very introverted, I also don't drink alcohol anymore, so I'm really nervous before every meeting, every event, every place that I don't know and always I have to talk to people 😂
