but in order to apply all wheel steering there needs to be a computer controlling it all and more complicated process innit? more chances/points of failure?
His model car looks like a Rolls Royce Phantom...... I guess he unconsciously knows what is better 😌 Still a nice car though. I hauled 3 of them to a benze dealership in Cleveland. Smooth ride
that subframe gives me flashbacks to my stupid rusty e46 subframe, looks pretty cheap btw with its pressed out sheed metal parts considering its an s-class, but who gives a fudge you can probably connect your phone to the radio
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had it (12 degrees) , and Toyota Mega Cruiser had it too (15 degrees) , all 20 years ago. So by now MB should take it up to at least 16 degrees.
Imagine if the rear steering controls adopt the turning position during a high speed overtake what would happen to the cars stability. There may not be any chance of that happening but still it were a mechanical system the turning position could be locked in with gears in a high way ride
American found that 4wd , rear steering and advancing CrabWalk since years ago. First large shows in 1980's = BIG FOOT TRUCK (now adays some company had changed the term of BIGFOOT became m0nsterTruck)
Yes pleasure driving sure, At high speed if one of those systems malfunction it's a big car, that has a little control over safety. And very costly as they always do. You already have the front steering component which is costly and you have another steering component at the back which is equally as costly, Money pits Sir. Scotty Kilmer always says. You lease them, then you get rid of them Before any major components break down, and goes out of warranty. Truth slaps you in the face :) I wouldn't mind driving it if it's for free, Without the rear steering and air suspension that breaks down as always lol. Good car
Thats merican inventions , i dont thing u guys trully give american wethepeople machinery and engineering innovator their credits. Stop all steals pls.

Let’s just use horse-drawn carriages then.

Will this be avelabale in the eqs or only on the s class ???
Available for both and also E class
Why not till now ??
The base TLX in 2015 had this
1989 r32 gtr had this
would love to see that in a g-class

But Honda Prelude was the first to invent RSW if I'm not mistaken.

Quite impressive
They can create rear axle steering but still don't know what dipsticks are.

just read ur quran and sit at home boss.. you know nothing outside other than quran,,,
@@drunkenmonkey5529Stupid reaction this mate.
1957 Nissan Bluebird first car with rear steering I believe
To late the Lexus had this about 12 years ago 😎
good job good car
Awesome….👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I am guessing this will cause new types of issues later in it's lifespan. Nothing is free. Very cool though.
Yeah. It looks awkward too.
Of course not. This is bassicly the same as the front wheels but smaller rotation. LOL
Think about all the alignment issues when that motor starts to act up
And we all know how they are allready planning on abandoning this idea because it's just a money pit fixing if something goes bad and it will go bad.
Quadrasteer turns 12 degrees, so not the first production vehicle with 10 degrees of rear steer, but very impressive 👍
Thats not something innovate bro... go to american muddy event.

That would be an inexpensive fix if it fails
They adopted from 🚌 multiaxle 😁
Something is missing... the bucket in front 😁
I hate your feature it's now impossible to park correctly.
So, it must be computerized; at least not mechanical as others do - steep angle turning.
Shut up, just take my money 💰
ATHAN BENZ POWER
After one year will be broken
Thats why nobody will own this car in 10years.. because it will have 1000 things thats keeps failing
