I'm french with a professional english level but I understood everything. I really admire all of your video. Thank you so much Eli. This help me a lot.
Great info here, thanks for this. Helped me out with a job interview. Had no idea what 'SaaS' was, until you explained it, then I realized I have several years experience supporting/using it.
I love the way you explained the SaaS concept from a layman's perspective. It is clear, engaging and at the end I understood the concept. I am glad, I found this after several videos and articles that did not help me much. (Oh and this might be my first ever comment on UA-cam)
Excellent Video - I have been in IT, Web Dev for many years building portals and search engines and so for years. This SAAS stuff is a thin client environment that Sun Microsystem developed years ago. Which now is on the forefront for some crazy reason lol
You are such a great teacher! SaaS is a technology bug. Too many drawbacks. Wish a CEO-man have enough money to make it all locally hosted and not cloud hosted.
Awesome enjoy listening to you, very absorbing, your voice captures attention, clear diction and you explain in very simple, relevant, useful manner. Crystal clear. Thanks!
as a newbee to IT and a student at age 41 trying to better myself financially and professionally by breaking away from my manufacturing career of 20+ years to a more rewarding and satisfying career in IT, I love your you tube training vids!!!!! If you have any advice on where to focus my studies on I'm all ears :-)
The young you lol, I am prepping for a SaaS interview and well, I follow you today with your changes in your content, and still will. Just wanted to say hi and your content from 2013 is still showing up on my radar =-)
Great information on SaaS especially its benefits and drawbacks. The drawbacks may scare the listener even though the benefits are really really great.
1.CEO preference in terms of one time huge spend vs long term usage based spend 2.Updates will be available continuously at the same time run the risk of data loss when the company goes kaput! 3.Service contracts in terms of premium feature access 4.Migration issues that you might faced with a specific service provider specifically from cloud solutions. Migration with Saas is a nightmare 5. Service growth with the company in the long term
I am soooo Happy, i came across this video on saas. Best explanation so far on the topic and i literally feel like a fool that i use SaaS service on everyday basis but didnt know it is called so :p
Hi Eli very good video about SaaS. Lately I've been experiencing some challenges in some customers who ask me when they should choose SaaS and when choosing on-primeses. Do you have any tips?
Hats off...thanks for the info....if I am ever in Baltimore (hometown) dinner is on me at Ruth Chris for all your help....have seen at 3 of you videos....very informative
Thanks for your sharing, my company has interests to learn on saas service. what is the key to service the clients? and how the service should be given. wondering if you teach the saas service? Looking forward to your reply.
Great video! Really interesting way to explain from so many different angles! Thanks for your video! Google Docs is a SaaS as all their tools are available online to use. But, is Adobe's Creative Cloud (CC) design tools & Microsoft's Office365 still fully a SaaS? Adobe & Microsoft, for these apps maybe having online versions of their apps, but what i'm specifically referring to is that once an Office365 or Creative Cloud subscription is purchased, they have apps (such as their Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, Outlook and Adobe's Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc) which need to be downloaded as a live installer (i.e. small lite installer) to the computer for offline use, so that one can use these heavy tools offline during the subscription period, too, which would mean the software resides on the local computer, even though a monthly or yearly subscription maybe needed to be re-verified after a set time period to continue using the software. Q; Is this also a pure SaaS model or a Hybrid between what was there in the old days of installing software locally on the computer and today's SaaS model? Would really like to know your point of view or what type of a delivery model can this be classified as?
Hi Eli, all your videos are very informative and learned a lot.Can you please make tutorial on honeypot and honeynet, if possible with the best free version of windows base honeypot. thank you for all your wonderful work!
Hi Eli, JetaCore SaaS thinks that your video is the best explanation of what the SaaS is. If you don't mind, link on this youtube public video will be placed on www.JetaCore.com web-site.
Thanks for all the great videos. One question, though. I see a lot of introduction lessons on your channel, and quite few intermediary and practical videos. Will you make continuations for your introductory videos, or are you solely focusing on introducing various topics?
Hi Eli, always enjoying your video's can you help with directing me to a training for ruby taking a SaaS app development and need a quick Ruby training . Thanks
Hi Eli, How much would you guess it takes to start a SaaS company? I've been trying to look into it and keep finding crazy ranges. I get that it would vary based on a lot of factors but was just curious if you could ballpark it.
What do you think would be a cool strategy if I want to sell software to the gov. if they always want to have all infraestructura inside their headquarters?
+Ezequias Dickens Have your servers that host the software installed at their headquarters :)(sounds stupid, I know but I have seen it but you will need physical access to maintain your servers and that will be the big problem).
thank u for ur knowledge one thing i want ask u what kind of simulation i use to make cloud computing like iaas , saas would u give me suggestion to do that or some link please ..
what if I' m selling SaaS that is a yearly based subscription with upfront payment Eli. It would comfort/help me if it was according to the model your talking about lol i.e monthly and over a certain lifespan as opposed to all upfront
i too thinks its too early a stage for SaaS. Especially for office. Apps like iCloud don't usually work with SaaS version of office as Apple didn't made it compatible with Office SaaS model yet. The end user is affected thus.
I'm french with a professional english level but I understood everything. I really admire all of your video. Thank you so much Eli.
This help me a lot.
Dude you have no idea how useful your videos have been for me. Thanks
I can listen to you all the day ! I didn't notice I have sitting and listening for more than 30 mins ! YOU ARE AMAZING

I am a visual learner, I needed this. Thank you, for articulating well!
What about this is visual it's just a guy talking in front of a camera with no graphics
He draw very well the ideas with his hands... ha ha
You are an audio learner, pal.
pull it together Jessica, you're better than this
1.CEO preference in terms of one time huge spend vs long term usage based spend
2.Updates will be available continuously at the same time run the risk of data loss when the company goes kaput!
3.Service contracts in terms of premium feature access
4.Migration issues that you might faced with a specific service provider specifically from cloud solutions. Migration with Saas is a nightmare

Awesome came by your channel by mistake, I am a non-tech guy, I am now into my 3rd video
Thank you 😊 you are a teacher and trust me not everyone can do it. Cheers

Hey Eli, after watching your SaaS video I think SaaS got more negative points than its positive points
Great video! Really interesting way to explain from so many different angles! Thanks for your video!

Having a facebook app installed on my andriod mobile, is this also an example of SaaS ?
i too thinks its too early a stage for SaaS. Especially for office. Apps like iCloud don't usually work with SaaS version of office as Apple didn't made it compatible with Office SaaS model yet. The end user is affected thus.
Well what about the thought that what if the software isn’t used daily so it’s a better deal
