Very2 helpful video for this function, short & clear! Question, should I remove the original layer extracted from the GPS and just keep the exported layers that have been saved in our laptop?
Hi Nabamsonia, Yes, you can print the map on paper using QGIS! Once you've imported your GPS data and created your shapefile, you can go to the "Print Layout" feature in QGIS. Here’s a quick steps: 1.Create a Print Layout: Go to Project > New Print Layout. Give it a name and click OK. 2.Add Your Map: In the Print Layout window, use the "Add Map" tool to draw a rectangle where you want your map to appear. 3.Adjust Layout: You can customize the map’s appearance, including scale, legend, and other map elements. 4.Print or Export: Once you're satisfied with the layout, you can print directly or export it as a PDF or image file.
🙏🙏🙏Thank you very much for this one, but at I can't found the 'GPS" section in "Data source manager". Is it a problem with the version? I am currently using "version 3.6.2-Noosa". Merci!
@@TerraSpatial Hi, i recently downloaded and installed the latest version, "3.30.1-'s-Hertogenbosch", and now i can find that GPS section on the same place you explained in the video. Presumably it was a matter of version (!?) - couldn't find it in my previous (old) version. Much appreciated 🙏
Hi Pallabi, Waypoint data are generated in GPS. So before hand i had surveyed few locations and i had recorded the position and tracks in GPS. Locations recorded in GPS is saved as waypoints and routes recorded are stored as tracks.
Hi, I didnt get you. What shade?, Secondly i had directly shown how to convert gps data to shapefile. I had made a video on shapefile creation, please check it.
Hey!! Can you give us the link or how to download the data you're using, please.
Nice work tho

Hi Adamu El-Oji, you can copy the way points from GPS to computer using data cable or memory card.

Hi Mr.Vijaya Kumar, Crop in the sense, Can you please elaborate on this topic?
Sir, how did you create the waypoint data before and how did you prepare the file on the track? It would be better if you could make a video
