The Godfather II is a drama and intrigue film about the life of Michael Corleone and how he should keep his empire safe.
Goodfellas is a movie where the story revolves around vulgar truck thieves and cold-blooded thugs.
Goodfellas is a movie about the mafia and their dirty criminal way of operating on the streets.
The Godfather I and II is not a movie where the mafia is the main theme.

@@capitanfuturo594 Your mother clearly raised a moron! The Godfather flicks are absolutely about the Mafia and the toll that "The Life" takes on a man as he rises through the ranks. The personal sacrifices that one has to make, or rather has imposed upon him, as a result of many of the decisions he had to make on behalf of the family and it's interest. Goodfellas is a fantastic film for sure but the Godfather, particularly Part II, are the DEFINITIVE films of the genre.

Never rat on "your friends" those were not his friends it's a violent cult look what they did to spider was he their "friend" too?
Only reason he ratted, was because his family was in danger of being murdered.

If he would of followed the rules, and not gone into the coke buisness, like Paulie forbade him to do, he would never be in the situation to have to rat on anybody. It's a violett life and sometimes people get killed, but if u follow the rules, keep your head down and focus on earning, it's highly unkikely you'll get killed.
Best line in the film is Paulie telling Henry he broke his cherry, like he got laid.
