I like that the puppeteer is not visible in this particular production. And this is no disrespect to puppeteers, but it helps maintain the illusion. And I love that a woman is playing Audrey 2. Not because the name is matching the gender or any such nonsense as that (I’m very open minded in that regard). But because it’s like she is the evil Audrey. And kind of add depth to the notion that she is helping Seymour realize his fantasy wile at the same time, twisting it into something dark.

Yeah, ive seen a few female audrey 2's and at this point i think its more about the vibe of the singer than the gender to play it.
