Dawes disk brake problem

Deadly issue with older (2012/3) Dawes bikes with disk brakes. These do not comply with International and British Standards e.g. BSEN14764:2005

This is a known problem and exists on many bikes with 9mm vertical drop-outs. What seems to be missing on that front fork are small lugs on each of the dropout ears. These lugs prevent this exact scenario, and these lugs are nicknamed 'lawyers lips'.

Yes, 'lawyer's lips' are meant to help in court cases, without them the defence is defenceless!
