Steady Eddie here. I operated a 2745 pulling a 2000 gallon Husky pig manure tank.I almost got stuck once and the owner Nick Henshaw said unload some of it and keep going,it worked. Scugog Island Ontario. 24 speed transmission It was pretty quick on the hyway. Then hooked up to a 10 shank 20 ft wide soil saver pulled it with ease. Cab I Ioved visibility was great. We have an 1100 Massey
Very cool. I have only had the chance to fill 1155 at a plow day which you see in a clip in this video. I hope to find an 1155 and 1150 to film for a 10 minute video in the future.
I have one too . The one i have had a turbo put on it. I was told the 2745 didn't have them from the factory. Straight pipe sounds really good too. Thanks for the video.
Good to see some Old Iron on your show from time to time!! I'd like to see dome videos about the JD 40' Iron Horses & some IH from the 70's and 80's as well.
I had to rewind after you said that . I'm am floored by the sheer amount of idiots that have been caught farming on youtube . Who taught them how to drive? Well son getvto the turnrow and just turn that sumbitch. Don't worry about nothin.... Jesus, I bet 3 out of 10 tandem disc on here are turn and burn on the end. Bearings just crying the blues.
Another comment may have theorized that there’s no hydraulic pressure to the mechanism that raises or lowers the openers because the associated hose sprung a leak or completely ruptured
Hello big tractor power growing up my dad had a 165,285,1100,1105, they got traded for 2705,2675w/cab,2675open and a396. Still have all of the last 4 tractors
This is very much how most farming around here looked when I was a youngster. Looked like he had some sort of guidance bar on the dash and a monitor on the corner post to know where he was going?
Not sure where he's at but he won't be there long without the air conditioner. That series is the world's most powerful greenhouse. On an 80 degree sunny day temps in the cab will pass 120.
@IG10705 Agco bought Massey Ferguson in 1993. If they didn't buy them. Massey Ferguson wouldn't have survived. My Grandfather was a part owner of 3 Massey Ferguson dealerships. Massey Ferguson was completely broke by 1993. They had to sell. Massey Ferguson nowadays is only name and color schemes.
It’s always nice to see a massive Ferguson. I know a lot of people don’t really like that brand of tractor, but I’ve always liked them.
Awesome to see such a reliable tractor still getting the job done...
Great job capturing this!
2745 s are not reliable. Great engines everything else is a problem
I have wanted to feature a V8 Massey for a few years.

Older masseys are pretty cool👍😁 I like the design of them😉👍 nice video👍👍
Brings back old memories. Love the sound the 2745 made
V8 power at its best.
I planted soybeans last Saturday here in central Wisconsin. Many fields remain unplanted due to wet conditions.
Another great Wisconsin farm tractor at work, thanks big tractor power
That would have been one of the " Big Boys " on the block back in the day.
It was a direct competitor of the JD 4440, IH 1086 and AC 7045.
Always good to see a Ferguson...👍👍
Especially a V8 😁
Good to see the 2745 getting the job done. I farm with an 1155, it does the planting, tillage and square baling.

@@bigtractorpower mine would be a road trip for you.
Nice setup! Going to combine some cornstalks with the beans! lol! Lots left over. Great video.
I was thinking the same thing..😅
We used a 2745, 1155, 135, 35, 165 and a 245. My Grandfather loved Massey Ferguson.
Great Massey history. Thank you for sharing.

I like to hear what the 2745 would sound like with straight pipe, it would sound pretty nice 🚜
It does. Mine has a turbo and in a pull it's crazy music to the ears.
Good video ❤

Very cool MF, but how in the world does he not brake the drill by turning it without lifting it? The openers must scream in pain every time..
Sound better with chrome straight pipe

waow what a cool find , and cool setup
Still running a 1155 285 and a 135
Very cool. The 1155 is a great one.
My first tractor at my first job was a 135 multipower with a canvas roof 😊
I love both of my 2000 series Massey Ferguson fun and comfortable
The Massey Ferguson is my second favorite tractor right behind the farmalls.......
Would be great to see this field again after the soybeans came up to see what kind of stand he got.
A neighbour of mine had one of these v8 Masseys, had a lot of problems with it. Regards from Down Under.
They were all powered by the 6.354 engine in the UK..no V8's here except the articulated tractor
Looks great 👍. My neighbor just bought a massy 1085.
Super💯video as always
Very nice MF tractor. That planter has it's work cut out for it. Planting into those corn stalks is pretty tough.
This is very much how most farming around here looked when I was a youngster. Looked like he had some sort of guidance bar on the dash and a monitor on the corner post to know where he was going?
My grandpa use to have one of those tractors when he farmed in ankeny
Hello Jason great vidéo and equipement for planting soybean
It’s a great planting team. Thank you for watching so many BTP videos.
Would look AWESOME in your V8 lineup
Ain’t no telling how many acres that ole girl has seen or what she’s done to make a living 👍🏻
Can you film a Parker 2500 Gravity Wagon or a Parker 4000 Gravity Wagon ?
That depends on if he can find them. Search on UA-cam for them
Good video.
Hello! Awesome old beast...
That’s a big mF!
why he doesn't lift the drill machine when turning? crazy farmer
I'm wondering that also.
If he has my kind of luck it blew a hydraulic hose right before Jason showed up with the camera.
That POS probably won’t lift it
It’s most likely broken
@@dreamfarmer6413 do you mean the seeding machine?
I would love to see harvest of this field....
Me too. We will see if it lines up timing wise.
Very GROOVY , and rare
It’s always cool to find a V8 tractor.
Im looking at a 2775 to add to my farm

Hi from Dexter🏠Missouri
Never drove one . But would like to.
i have a 2705 my dad went through the 24 speed i think 3 or 4 times last time was in 2010
Xe ngon rượu ngon Việt Nam đây mấy ông già 🇻🇳🚜😂❤

I worked for a MF dealer from 78-84.
The 2000 series tractors broke MF. The transmissions were junk.
Yet MF is still around.
@@IG10705Not as an independent company. They are an AGCO rebranded tractor.

I highly doubt they will because MF is a major brand in the EU
Massy Ferguson was a good tractor till agco took over. And it has gone down ever since
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Would'nt it be better to work the ground before?
Have you seen the price of diesel! Got to do what it takes to survive!!

Thank you for the comment.
Sadly, the 2000 Tractor Series was a failure for Massey Ferguson and was part of the many things that led to the company’s demise.
"Company's demise'? What are you talking about? Massey Ferguson is still around.
Is Massey it's own independent company still? Hence why he says demise
@@Zero01k Yes. Correct. Massey Ferguson is a diminished brand owned by AGCO, but Massey Ferguson is no longer a company.
Massy Ferguson older models are simple, less electronic crap which equals easily worked on by owner....
