Hope you got it fixed brother. When you solder you must use flux. It keeps the solder welding together. Even though it looks together and you can pull it apart doesn't mean it's a solid connection. Hop4 you get it going bro. Proud of you for trying with all that work.
Your soldering game is alright lil bro. Looking nice, but I know you can do better. Just give yourself a little patience. Next time try to get all the small loose strands mashed in with what you about to solder; cause they can puncture through the heat shrink sometimes, that can cause some problems. Also try keeping your solder level lil bro. Them lumps can cause em to rub a hole through your heat shrink, which can also cause some issues. You doing great with both soldering and videos keep em rollin.
Yes Bro, Bro you gotta look at some UA-cam's about Soldering You gotta make it Pretty Before you Solder, Pinch the connection straight with your hands while twisting the wires together or pinch it with a WIDE PLIER

You might want to look at the wiring that’s connecting to the fuse harness

Ain’t no real reason, style/comfort. It’s a west coast thing fasho
Bro that 40 fuses is a main fuse make sure that those thick red wires are pushed all the way in that can be your problem
Those same wires are up there by the neck to make sure they are in before you strip your bike back down
