It's not "Betty Ting-pei" but Betty Ting, Betty Pei Ting, or Ting Pei instead. Of course its just her stage name, but her chinese given name is Pei, her western given name is Betty, and her surname is Pei.
I know many ppl still use hyphens or spaces in chinese given names like Lee Jun Fan, Jun-Fan or Jun-fan, but they only lead to confusion as this example shows.
The best way is spell the given names together, either Junfan or JunFan, in both ways you see its one name which it is. Then these mistakes like "Betty Ting-pei" wouldnt happen.
